Interestingly, Stujones, David Price is fav for the Super Heavy final, so you may want a punt on Kevin Evans.

This is the 3rd time Evans & Price have boxed each other, Evans has won on both occassions.
I have seen very little of the boxing, infact only caught 4-5 fights altogether.
I did see the Australian lightweight who looked v-v- good, I thought he would be a cert to get gold...but just read he lost to an English boy
I did catch Price against the Indian is that the best big lad England has he was very brave and determined but has a dodgy chin and so robotic...everything he did looked forced.

I'd put Evans as favourite here, think the semi took alot out of Price, but of course with super heavys it can always hang on who lands a big shot.

Have not seen anything of Kevin so cannot comment on who favours the other but without coming out too hard on Price I have to say if the top amateurs are the future of our pro ranks then the saviour of the heavyweight division will not be coming from Britain in the forseeable future.
5 'British' fighters got gold today. Ken Anderson, Don Broadhurst, Stephen Smith, Frankie Gavin and David Price all won gold.
Price dominated Evans. He forced Evans to take a standing count, then Price Continued to extend his lead until it reached the 20-point gap, thus forcing a stoppage. This shows how much Price has improved, given that Evans beat him twice in the past

Dont forget Broadhurst - he boxes for Aston ABC (he was with Birmingham Irish for years before the switch) so Birmingham went 2 for 2 in terms of boxing gold medals at the games - superb!
Broadhurst qualifies as a Brummie, just, despite the debilitating affects of being a v*lla fan!!

Uutoni seems to have some great skills, good strengh and excellent movement.

All the british boxers are going to have to work hard to get qualification for the Olympics, its a nightmare trying to do that in the europeon section.
