He probably made some good money from the GGG fight but he should've moved up to 154 after his last defense against Bizier. IMO his career got foocked up and his health too for competing at a top level.

The thing is, he relies on his power at 147.. At 154, he will be just another guy.. I don't see him as a force at 154.. He is stook between a rock and a hard place.

Yeah but when you make weight very hard and stamina isn't there in the later rounds then is useless to stay at 147. Brook is killing himself to make 147. I'd say a pre-GGG 154 lbs Kell Brook would batter guys like Jarett Hurd and Liam Smith.

But the stamina issues were there before he was ever a champion. He looked as god as ever last night, he was just beaten by a better fighter. Him moving to 154 is probably what will happen but he'll never win another title if he does.

Yeh, no doubt he would beat Smith and Hurd today.. As for the current 154 champions? I'm not so sure.

I agree with the above Brook has had a good career but should turn it in now before he gets badly hurt. Although I suspect a fight with Khan will be the last big pay day both crave.

How do ppl feel about a Khan fight. From how he performed today, I think he makes relatively easy work of Khan, especially compared to his last two fights. I dont see him being outworked as Khans output has slipped IMO, won't be outmuscled, don't think he will be hurt much but can do the hurting. Maybe I'm underrating Khan these days but he's looked average. I had him winning 2 timid rounds against Canelo...if you wanted my thoughts on that.

Khan fight is a farce now, Khan hasn't won a fight in two years, Brook coming off a pair of terrible losses, no world title on the line. Its not a fight I'd like to see next for the two, is rather them get a few wins under their belt and then perhaps they can fight for a vacant belt if one becomes available

The Khan fight would be a great testimonial payday for two great British fighters. The fall from grace was completed for Brook last night. Nowhere else to go from here. Nowhere that will pay as much.

All of a sudden he's no longer unbeatable, not even at WW. Still, Kell's a likeable bloke and will still have plenty more to offer.

Can't say evil people screwed him, they/we did but this is boxing. It's no joke.

Brook v Khan is a prizefight. Gets Brook back to winning ways and retires Khan. They'll probably bill it as british grudge match & a last chance saloon. It will do well here.

The big question is will Khan agree to fight at 154? I will guess he will say no and use that as an excuse to duck Brook. A full strength healthy Brook will ice Khan, and Khan knows it.

Yeah i think it will be Brooks biggest fight in terms of exposure & magnitude. He'll be fired up to be in as good as shape as ever at 147 and knock Khan out.

He'll beat Khan. I'd be supporting Khan and would love to see him stop Brook but Khan isn't good enough and Brook will likely stop him. It's always been this way really.

That would be and interesting move. Then if they can arange a fight with Hurd for the IBF sww title and win it, Brook is back on track and he can have some leverage for a potential fight with Khan at a c/w.

Khan vs brook was a fight I'd love to see but I've actually changed my mind and think fack Amir Khan. He's had a shite load of time to have this fight but facked brook so many times.

Go to 154 and forget about Amir Khan, he's done

Brook maybe should call it a day if his eyes are bad

Khan's early offense could smash one of those eyes.

Spence tagged really hard Brook's left eye. GGG done a better job on the right eye.

I doubt it. Golovkin's probably the hardest punching fighter p4p, in boxing. Spence seems to have outstanding power at WW, bigger hitter than Thurman & Pacquiao i'd suggest from common opponents. I don't think Khan is packing much power at all.

I know, but it's still 2 really injuries for him to deal with. Then there's the mental aspect of it

True. Especially if the fight takes place at 147. I really think that Brook was weakened by the weight drain back to welter, although that is not to say it had an effect on his eye sockets, other than making him easier to find as the fight wore on.

Brook should seriously consider calling it a career.

So the initial injuries don't raise the probability of it happening again?

Too early for that kind of talk. I remember how Linares was written off by everyone, after 2 cuts defeats on the bounce. Not lost a fight since and is a world champion.
