Let's look at something real ... Look the soft hitting pieces of poop Manny Pacquiao couldn't knock out: Brandon Rios, Tim Bradley, Chris Algieri. Pacquiao fought anybody but a hitter since 2012... Floyd has had a remarkable career, but he's never faced a dangerous hitter in his life. He's a little more ingenious then Amir Khan at picking and choosing opponents.. Throughout his career Floyd's never faced a single fighter who could crank it up.. Everybody was excited after Floyd dealt with Pacquiao because it didn't look like he could escape a fight with Kell Brook or Keith Thurman any more -- the most logical guys in the world for Floyd to fight. They interviewed Floyd Sr and asked him about Floyd fighting Andre Berto... "For me, personally I don't agree with that. If Little Floyd doesn't want to fight the logical guys he should just quit right now." When Floyd was asked about what his father said, "Me and my dad don't agree on everything."

Triple-G offered for years to go to 154 when Floyd held the 154-pound title.. Nothing doing.. A Brook-Mayweather in England would have sold out Wembley Stadium and broken all records for all time.. Wouldn't happen in a million years.. When Spence had 14 fights he sparred with Floyd and knocked the crap out of him.. That was the first time in his life Floyd was ever in with a great boxer-puncher and he couldn't truck.. There was no possible way.. Floyd had nothing for Spence and everybody knows it..

I was even looking forward to Floyd fighting the pathetic Amir Khan.. He's the type of weak opponent you'd expect Floyd to take.. Khan is a guy any puncher can knock over with a feather, but Amir has very fast hands and feet and might make Floyd look foolish for a few rounds -- or possibly score a shocking upset like Buster Douglas did over Mike Tyson.. Floyd lacked the power to take advantage of Khan's super weak chin.. It might have been like the Zab Judah fight for 3 rounds.. And then starting the 4th round Amir might have stepped up the speed, combinations, and work rate and won in a walk.

Floyd was very vociferous about what he'd do to Khan until the Khan-Alexander fight... The next day Floyd said, "Who's ever heard of Amir Khan?"
