He's pretending to be the Alabama heavyweight champ. Doing a fair job of it too
Re: Wilder still nothing?
Sooner or later he's going to have to fight Ortiz or Joshua... He can wait out Ortiz... Joshua is going to be there, waiting patiently while he grows richer.
Re: Wilder still nothing?
But you know what???
When Lennox Lewis flattened Razor Ruddock, everybody said, "Sooner or later Bowe, Tyson, and Holyfield will have to fight this guy."
How about later??? Much later.

Wilder will have to fight one of the top five very soon. I think Parker is next unless Parker finds a way out, then Wilder will have to fight Stiverne again, which no one wants to see again. Worry about things you can control. We as fans cannot control who the guys fight.

What is his latest crime? Fighting 3 months ago and not having a fight booked? Shouldn't that be wilder, etc...?

Re: Wilder still nothing?
Is Stiverne still alive? He seemed like an obesitas who could get a heart attack at any moment last time I saw him. I was surprised the WBC acted like he was ready for a fight against Povetkin, it seemed like dangerous for his health. I didn't know at the time it was just a big act from the WBC.Badhusker wrote:Wilder will have to fight one of the top five very soon. Re: Wilder still nothing?
real heavyweight champions would have
immediately contracted joshua for a real
big unification bout. but it cannot come
as a surprise that the one heavyweight
champion with the almost perfect record
does not do that.
my personal guess is that in the end he
will get exposed as not belonging up there.
for one i do think he has technical flaws
and tends to lose composure and balance
too easily. but secondly he has not been
building the mind set of a champion who
can dig deep when needed, on the contrary.
in the very moment he goes down against
someone like AJ all the doubts that he has
been hearing will enter his mind and instead
of finding strength within himself he will
find emptiness.
real confidence is not only heart IMO but
needs development and wilder and his team
failed to do that by over protecting him.
though on the other hand it might turn out
he is just overrated, his handlers knew it
and played their hand the best they could.

Huey Fury still has about 90 days left to decide if he want to fight Parker

i guess they can't hire stiverne again because no one wants to see it so they have very few options.
