I meant his style in the ring....he goes into phases where he moves constantly and needlessly, and I think he'd be on the bike a lot against a powerful stalker like Spence.

I don't get how he's ducking. You don't duck Errol Spence to fight Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia. Both are dangerous fights for anyone.
Agreed...but "Run Time" has a nice ring to it!!

Errol Spence is better than porter or Garcia.

Thurman is good.

Spence is better.

Spence isn't Danny Garcia or Shawn Porter. Those guys are solid fighters but they're not Spence. Porter couldn't even beat Kell
Brook in the States. Spence went and beat Brook in his backyard.

Thurman was able to out-athlete and outbox Garcia and Porter. He won't be able to do that against Spence who is quicker and sharper than both guys, and most importantly, cuts off the ring very well. And his jab is a thing of beauty.

Please. He didnt fight Garcia. He was too cautious to even through a half honest combination. Boring ass fight between two safety first paper champs. Porter is an excellent gatekeeper and thats about it. Thruman couldnt come close to exerting any form of dominance against either fighter. They are all B level fighters. Spence is an A+ fighter and a breath of fresh air in boxing just like that kid Benavides who fought the other day. These guys are the ones that deserve the big paydays on TV and not the scrambling scrappy rambling journeyman like Thurman and Porter.

Yuh Spences jab would absolutely have Thirmanbaxking up and stop him getting off first

A fight vs Thurman would not be an easy fight for Spence, just like the Brook fight wasn't easy. Thurman has a pretty respectable resume at 147...top 3 easily at this point. I do think Spence will win, but will be a very competitive fight for at least the first half and then some, depending on when Spence gets to Thurman's Achilles heel..big body shots.

For those of you that saw the fight, (I taped it but have not watched it yet) Did Spence look a little rusty, maybe timing was off like he said?
He mentioned he was over-shooting his jab which left him open for counters, and over-all felt kind of out of his normal rhythm. Maybe Brook's skill had something to do with that. I like the fact that both fighters gave each other props when it was over according to what I read.

Before Saturday, his resume wasn't.

Spence can't wait around for Thurman. He needs to get back in their in the next four months. Who would be a decent fight for him?

I think that Matthysse would be a proper test inbetwixt big fights. Lamont Peterson would also be good. Danny is unlikely to go there but he has the skills, chin, power, toughness, and style to challenge Spence.

No way does Thurman fight him this year imo. Thurman will want a tune up before a big fight next year. If I was Spence, I would be calling out the Pac/Horn winner, Peterson, Garcia, or Bradley. I really doubt if Arum allows Pac/Horn or Bradley to fight Spence. Spence does need to stay busy. I would prefer Garcia over Peterson.

Carlos Ocampo (who?) may be his mandatory soon. http://boxrec.com/boxer/625947 Matthysse would be good too. Not sure if he would want it though?
