BTW, Gavilan won this fight, contrary to popular belief. In fact I had him winning by about a 3 round margin.

The Gavilan-Graham fight...
This is one of my favorite fights ever. It's exciting, but it isn't really an all-out, non-stop brawl... but in a way, that's sort of its appeal to me. These guys were real pros and really knew how to fight, more than any fighters around today. Both had had at least 70 fights
, and in fact I think Graham had had about 100 fights
. Both guys showed great defenses, but at the same time they were perfectly willing to step up the pace and throw caution to the wind when they had to. Both guys also showed great chins, and there were no knockdowns, nor was either fighter ever seriously hurt. It was like these guys just don't ever get knocked down. Graham took a beating in the early rounds, but like a pro he knew how to hang in there and he came back to take the late rounds and make the fight close. Watching this fight you'll see just how the old-timers had it over so many of the fighters of today.
