Blanket losses as losses, wins as wins, but don't reflect the actual quality and level of standard the boxing is.

As I said, Bellew in his only step up got iced and was never in that fight and was clearly outclassed. Brook was certainly in all fights he's had.

He was I can't deny that. And you're right about the quality in comparison but he lost those fights. He was somewhat competitive against GGG in an unwinnable fight and he was definitely competitive against Spence I had him up through 6 but they're ultimately losses. Bellew's opponent quality isn't as good but he was winning those fights, Brook's big win was three years ago it can't keep him at the top. It's worth noting that the rankings on this very site for a British pound for pound list have Bellew at 3 and Brook at 15 and that uses an unbiased points system though obviously errors will occur.

When does Brook's one win stop getting taken into account? If I was doing a list like this I would take the previous 12 months into account only otherwise you'd be ranking Amir Khan near the top till he retires and that's just silly.

However I had him ahead on points after 50 seconds against the best heavyweight in the world... which is better than no 10 world rated Breazeale could do. Cornish is world class. And he will prove it. Cornish WPts Joseph Parker.

When it looks like he's not a top operator his p4p rating should fall with it, imo

It's not like he's retired or anything. He won the belt, got stabbed, fought mandatory and had a quick turnaround on Gavin, fought mandatory. The golovkin and spence and bad injuries here that's slowing everything down.

I would probably have my top 10 like this:
1. Joshua
2. Frampton
3. Groves
4. DeGale
5. Brook
6. BJS
7. Lee Selby
8. Quigg
9. Jamie McDonnell
10. Khalid Yafai

Maybe have Groves and DeGale the other way round - but the reason why I have Groves infront is because I think he beats DeGale in a rematch. Maybe swap Selby and Quigg. Might suprise a few people that I've got Yafai, but I think he is a real talent and will shine in a few years in a very tough division.

When/if Fury comes back, he will be top imo.
