It's decent. I also thought he won the first quite clearly. Really like Markham he's a hard bastard there's not much clinching in any of his fights.TheLeprechaun wrote:Was expecting around 1/4 on Markham. 8/15 is a good price. He beat mullender clearly already and has been more active.

Re: Betting thread
Just for info, bet365 are doing their no risk bet offer again buy it's by invite only and I've not been given it. Called to find out why and they won't explain why.
Closed the account as there's plenty of other bookies to take my money!
People I know who purely match bet have it too

Gone for Markham points, skeete ko and Fonfara win 34-1
Re: Betting thread
Been busy elsewhere so I haven't had barely any time to do much research this week, but my hedge on the under 10½ just missing by 17 seconds or so in the Brook/Spence Jr. fight last weekend cost me more than I otherwise expected. Lost every bet so -4.7 units or -$470.00 on that one. Luckily I'm still up in the thousands of dollars for the year so hope to make that up and more shortly! I can't pass up generous dog odds on Andrzej Fonfara against an aging Stevenson today. I actually bet against Fonfara last time out and despite the fact that he was in jeopardy of losing a decision to a middling Dawson on the scorecards before getting a late stoppage, I think he could potentially pull an upset if he gets it to the mid to late rounds. At these odds I must take a stab.
Andrzej Fonfara (+800) vs Adonis Stevenson $75.00 for $600.00
Andrzej Fonfara (+800) vs Adonis Stevenson $75.00 for $600.00
Re: Betting thread
IMO Fonfara is value! Stevenson is 39 and 3 years ago it was competetive and the Odds are great.
I also dont see why Duradola is +300 against Kudra, if he wasnt ruined by Braidis I would clearly favor him.
Duradola gets hurt, but he is (or was) very tough and Kudra doesnt have much except power.
IMO Pascal is shot, he definetely looked shot against Kovalev 2, Alvarez is unexceptional, but he does a lot of things right, and I could even see him wearing down Pascal...

Just think that 7/4 is a big price, to me it's each of two whether he stops him but I guess we will see.
Re: Betting thread
Cheers mate, went back in three times and backed it as well, with PP and 365, cleared a monkey on the night so well pleased with that. Was surprised they laid me to be honest thought they would limit it after the first bet but jobs a good un. Putting my punting boots away for the weekend now, other wise I will give some of it back on other sports and don't want to do that this time.Deno1986 wrote:Well done again GB!GlobalBox wrote:That will be me then, accept he is not the biggest puncher but is hitting harder than he used to, 7 out of his last 10 wins inside the distance three to go the distance were Eggington,Thain and Williams three very tough men, realise he lost to Gavin in that run as well.TheLeprechaun wrote:It's still there. Juventus are solid side, great defensively, won their league quite comfortably but Madrid have won the champions league twice in the last three year. I'm going with the side that's most experienced at this level and that's Madrid.littlepug wrote:Anyone betting on champions league final ? want to have a bet to keep it interesting but don't really have the knowledge to bet on footie
I'll probably back Real and both teams to score.

Re: Betting thread
Kudasyrov (-325) I know favorite but there no value in losing like I say so.... rematches usually serve one person the team of the loser thinks the first was a fluke so I'm on that side the wrong person won the first fight and when you have a guy who was at least 50 to 1 in the first fight only 3 to 1 worth a bet to me.
Re: Betting thread
Added a couple of longshot props with Fonfara's most recent fight in mind:
Andrzej Fonfara (+800) vs Adonis Stevenson $75.00 for $600.00
Andrezej Fonfara wins in round 11 (+3600) ~$27.50 for ~$990.00
Andrezej Fonfara wins in round 12 (+4400) ~$27.50 for ~$1210.00

Re: Betting thread
I think Ishmael Sillakh at 4-1 against Masternak might be worth a nibble. Sillakh is fragile but can punch and box well and is 6ft3.
Masternak is hardy and has some half decent results but is no world beater and only 6ft
And had never Kod anyone of any real value.
I think this fight is a toss up so 4-1 is value. Fight is in Poland though. I give an edge to Masternak but a nibble at that price is reasonable.
Ps fight is 24th June

Re: Betting thread
no one fancy haskins on points at 4-1 ? haven't seen too much of the other lad but think haskins greater experience should pull him through
Re: Betting thread
I think its a 50-50 fight, however hearing Haskins talking about having no interest in unifying the division and boxing being nothing other than a job hardly inspires someone to lay money on himlittlepug wrote:no one fancy haskins on points at 4-1 ? haven't seen too much of the other lad but think haskins greater experience should pull him through
Nevertheless Burnett is talented but green and I think the only reason they have taken this fight is because of the recent Hall fight which Haskins struggled with but Burnett fights nothing like him so Haskins points is a good a value bet as any, I'm taking it.

Be quick bet365 have Ryan Doyle as a 6/1 underdog vs James Tennyson. Can't see it lasting long as paddy power only giving 21/10 odds on Doyle

Long gone.
Re: Betting thread
Fonfara got stopped quickly last week for a small 1.30 unit loss, so let's see if these can get me back on the winning track this weekend. I got a good price on Prograis who I have had on my radar for a while now before the line got pricier and went a little heavier than usual, especially for a favorite on the ShoBox card tonight. I also love the value on Haskins against Burnett on the Belfast card Saturday at these prices.
Regis Prograis (-213) vs Joel Diaz Jr. ~$607.05 for ~$285.00
Lee Haskins (+290) vs Ryan Burnett $100.00 for $290.00
Lee Haskins (+343) vs Ryan Burnett $100.00 for $343.00
