Kovalev did duck Stevenson. It is on record. It is a fact.

There is nothing to debate.

Let's stick to the topic of this thread, please.

Who are you trying to kid??? ... Look at the scores for Mayweather-Canelo... One judge saw a draw... Two judges saw a closer match than actually happened... Floyd is the guy who generally controlled the judges except for his fights with De La Hoya and Canelo.

Golovkin is going to have to give Canelo a monster beat down to get the decision -- a la Mosley-Forrest 1... "I knew just beating Shane wouldn't be enough. I pretty much knew I had to beat the fking sh!t out of him. Foreman thought it was a draw? (laughs) Shane's mother wouldn't have given it to him."

Yup, GGG has to stop Canelo. FMJ was completely schooling gingerboy.

Could also be a bit of styles make fights.
Golovkin just beat his best Middleweight opponent to date, and has still looked very solid. If Canelo beats him I'll be very impressed.

I think, in the short term, Alvarez's haters and Golovkin's fans would say that Golovkin is getting too old. But in the long run, people would look at Golovkin's resume and say "God damn. He never really beat anybody in his whole career." Of course, that's if Golovkin loses. If he wins, then he beat Alvarez, so yeah, he would have beat somebody.

Yeah, I mean... that's basically who Arthur Abraham beat.

Who were Abraham's top 5 MW opponents?

Miranda (great show of heart by Abe to get through with the horribly broken jaw), Eastman, Jantuah, Gevor, and Oral?

Golovkin beat some top mw guys at that time like : Proksa, Stevens, Rubio, Murray, Macklin, Geale, Lemieux-ibf (who still is a top mw) and of course Jacobs. If you search the rankings those guys were in top 10. Only fighters that blatantly ducked GGG at that time were Felix Sturm, Martinez - who was shot and in looking for big payday-Cotto and Quillin.

Golovkin pretty much cleaned out the middleweight division. :TU:
