I think he'd need more than work rate to beat him. Linares looked really sharp against crolla I thought.

No less speed and his skill set just gets more and more impressive.
I think Garcia is the only guy right now that would give him a decent challenge.
That's why Linares is living in the UK and training here - must have been planning for this and knows the big money fights are here in the UK - he's had 3 good pay days here with Mitchell and Crolla x2.
Darleys Perez had not fought at the weight for 15 months then suddenly the WBA ranked him at 1 then the Campbell fight was announced.
Hearn has done a terrible job with Luke Campbell's career IMO.
He is one of the most successful amatuers ever from this country yet has been moved on so slowly. I like Tommy Coyle but Campbell should have been fighting him in his first 5-6 fights.
Top level amatuers should be at world level in 10-12 fights for me. IE Usyk, Gvozdyk etc
Wonder if Linares-Campbell lands as the headliner on Haye's first show, akin to Hearn letting O'Hara out on C5, or some sort of co-promotion. Haye's got some Olympians and Hearn loves them too.
Given Haye and his stable are all with Salas now too.
There's got to be something workable with all the relevant parties here, they're already kind of intertwined.
I can't see anything other than a conclusive Linares win if this happens, possibly even a stoppage. I can't remember the Perez fight too well but didn't Campbell start off pretty slow and lose the opening rounds? He wouldn't get away with that against Linares

I think he has been moved well enough for his ability, he was a far better amateur than he is a pro IMO

I'd have liked to have seen Campbell win because I thought he was gonna be a special talent when he turned over but it's looking as if I was wrong on that one. That being said I'm a big fan of Linares and I think it'll be a straight forward nights work for him.

Linares has a lot of miles on the clock, and may struggle with LC's length and accuracy. Add in the home advantage of a Matchroom fighter in the UK ( ) and I think the odds are about right. Linares would be my 'who wins' pick, but it's no foregone conclusion.
Boxing well to the right game-plan and Campbell is a tricky nights work for anyone.
