Greb vs Hopkins 2 in the next round of the MDT. Excited about that one! :box:

Tommy Ryan wants Floyd Mayweather!

If Mayweather turns down Ryan, then Ryan will fight Karl "K.J." Noons.

Nino Benvenuti offers a shot at the Light Middleweight title to Sandro Mazzhingi. Benvenuti is 1-1 with Mazzhingi so a rubber match with the 154 title at stake would be great.

If we can't work out a deal we'll see what other options we have for Nino's 1st title defense.

Oh yeah, that's right. Greb is definitely overdue for his win over B-Hop and he's gonna get it this time.

Since Mazzhingi is entering the Prizefighter Tournament, Benvenuti will defend his Jr. Middleweight crown against Felix Trinidad. Trinidad fits the criteria that the Light Middleweight Champion needs to meet, and it gives Benvenuti a chance to one up Mayweather's title win over Tito. Mayweather beat Trinidad via Split Decision. Nino will beat him via Unanimous Decision or Knockout!

Why will you NOT face Floyd? You sir are a duck, and a duck is unworthy of the term champion.

Floyd is the LMW champion.....and has never known defeat, and even with a perfect record has been stripped of his title for political correctness.

and apparently NoNo BeatNobody is going to run to the edge of the planet to steer clear of such an encounter.

As you can see at the top of the page Nino Benvenuti is required to defend the title against a Jr. Middleweight opponent ranked 16 thru 40. Floyd Mayweather ranks too high for consideration. If Nino were to be ordered to defend against Mayweather he would do so, but as it is he will simply follow the criteria as laid out by the Commission.

The offer from Tommy Ryan to face Floyd Mayweather still stands.

Why is the LMW title made a mockery???

LMW's are pugilists too.

That has to be a Type-0???

I agree with you. Nino is proud to be Light Middleweight Champion and plans on reigning as Champion for a while. He will make it a prestigious title to hold, unlike the previous Champion.

I really don't think that's a rule....I think NoNo is hiding behind a Type-0, Floyd was champion, and has faced every LMW in the inventory who has been willing to fight him.

He is undefeated.....unbowed, and unerringly perfect in his record. And in the top 5 since the universe was created.

So how is it he could hold the belt in the past...but can't face the great NoNo BeatNobody to settle things now?

There are several of the top Light Middleweights that I don't recall Floyd facing, and you can't bullsh*t me either because as it turns out I'm very meticulous and I know exactly who you have faced and who you haven't faced.

I also know Floyd was stripped of the Light Middleweight title back in Week 18. The title spent a few weeks in limbo as all the competitors for it were tied up in the MDT at the time, but, and while you had a few ranked computer options you could've faced to defend the title within the criteria expected of a Champion, you chose instead to scrape the bottom of the barrel and hope nobody would notice. Well they did, and now the way has been paved for a Champion who will uphold the integrity of the Light Middleweight Title.

Meanwhile Floyd Mayweather continues to avoid answering Tommy Ryan's challenge.

I will return to the business at hand of defending my Light Middleweight Championship. Floyd can either face Tommy Ryan this week or leave me my boys alone because we're not interesting in endless blather over here. We look to get things done in the ring.

Tommy Ryan vs Floyd Mayweather...yes or no?

Thanks for the offer, but Duran will pass at this point in time. After the disappointing last loss, he had to be talked into not retiring. After he gets some momentum again, I don't mind doing it in a few weeks.

Point of order......

Is it true that Floyd Mayweather is too highly ranked to be considered as an option to vie for the LMW championship?

Just want an answer on that hypothetical...since the current champion has no wish to engage in such a suicide mission.

Seems like a duck....since we fought for it in the past...and have never been rated outside of the top five.

Mayweather will face Sergio Mora, since Hearns isn't interested.

Yes, it is true. The Light Middleweight strap is considered a minor title alongside the IBO & MGM recognition.
