In staffordshire anyone half decent has now retired. Only a few low level domestic fighters anyone would know, i guess andy keates is the only name anyone who follows boxing would recognise now

I liked Grant Cunningham but he seems to have disappeared. Was unlucky to have twice been stopped on cuts in close fights with Lewis Taylor and Damon Jones.. I see Rob hunt is carrying on I thought he wud retire.

Definitely mate small hall shows have been awful for the past year or 2 now. Never any well matched fights. I'm thinking about going to Dudley show Friday cuz not been a small hall show for ages and a 10-0 v 7-3 6rounder is about as good as it gets!

Yeah saw mate but there is some polish 10-0 heavyweight (as the home fighter) v Chris Healey bit of a random one but like I saw my standards have got that low that any fight where both have at least a winning record will do cuz otherwise not doing any shows locally.

You must be quite near me. I'd through in Matty Ryan for Middleton too. Alex Rutter too, if he's even still fighting any more. Darryl Sharp another (popularity wise anyway). All in terms of local popularity, if not any actual real success.

In the my home town of Paisley just up the road you have Kris Carslaw but I've not spoken to him or heard anything about him in a long time so I don't know if he's jacked it in or not. Last I heard he was going back to welter which sounded a strange move.

Ricky Burns is from Coatbridge which is on the outskirts of Glasgow. That's about a 45 minute drive give or take. He's probably more local to Tomasino.
