If the OP had made a post in an attempt to drag lets say Manny Pacquiao's name through the mud with the same type of rumor, he would have been banned.

This forum is currently suffering from an epidemic of persistent bûllshît claims proposed by a set of people that don't genuinely appreciate our beloved sport, since they post all sorts of utter unsubstantiated shîtè, without making an effort to fact-check anything beforehand.

The only reason I threw Pacquaio's name in there was that a mod on this forum threatened to ban posters if they made any unsubstantiated accusations about Pac's PED usage a couple of years back. If I remember right they said it could be considered slanderous. (about the time when Pac had a lawsuit against Mayweather)

There's a difference between someone portraying themselves as being the pantomime villain (for self-promotional purposes), whilst committing one or two minor misdemeanours... and a mentally-deranged rapist that commits serious crimes.

No one should "believe" in accusations such as this one if it's leaked to the media from an unreliable source, whilst also being unsubstantiated.

I prefer to assume innocence until guilt has been proven, especially considering the news has been leaked from an unreliable source.

None of the reasons you've cited justify your assumption about Broner "possibly" being a rapist. There is no evidence to justify your suspicions.

Even if Broner is ultimately proven by law to be a rapist, I have still adopted the correct mindset, because I exist in an evidence-based reality, whereby extreme accusations require irrefutable proof before they are worthy of consideration.

Put it this way, if you were accused of an equally severe crime as the one that Broner has been alleged as committing, would you want the jury to be like me or as presumptuous and as biased as you?
