vacant IBF East/West Europe lightweight title

Post by davie »

Paul Hyland and Adam Dingsdale just fought for this one
Did they merge the East and West European titles?
If they did, surely they could have done away with the East/West bit.... Unless there's a North/south title

It's a curiously named championship.
There is not a North/South only East/West and all Euro boxers and nations qualify.

Just another one of those cracker jack box titles that ain't worth taking seriously. The win and the spectacular fashion it was achieved is worth taking seriously though.

What an absolute joke. can you imagine walking back into the gym and all your mates cheering and being interviewed by your local radio station because your the new IBF East/West Europe champion !!!!!! What does it actually mean ?????

The promoter who allowed this to be included on his bill deserves to have a sharp poke in the eye.
