Jon Carroll vs Quigley

Post by TheLeprechaun »

Interesting fight. Quigley looks like a good fighter. Carroll strikes me as crude but effective. I think Quigley is the better technician of the two and could win this handily on the cards.

Thinking the same and 13/8 on Quigley isn't a bad price either.

Very surprised that you're picking the Irish fighter to win

I'm probably edging Jono on points.

FairPlay to FW, since the BT deal he's stacking the undercards with 50/50 fights.

Quigley's got a hands down style based on reflexes. He moves well and should look like he's winning the fight from the outside. Carroll will be throwing punches at him in bursts but if Quigley can avoid Carrolls attacks and keep the fight in the center of the ring I think he has a good shot of winning.

From what I can see, Carroll is going to be outboxed unless he pushes the fight. He might overwhelm Quigley but 1 KO in 13 fights suggests he's not a puncher. It's Quigley's fight to lose for me.
