If he dropped the racist angle I'd get on board. Cops in the south are about as corrupt as they come when it comes to drugs, no matter the individual's race.punchoutsb wrote:I can't tell if you're trolling or not...gp. wrote:They stopped him for a "window tint violation".

Lol and meanwhile the new champion is... Bermaine Stiverne! Oh no, he got busted as well, and the new champion is, Arreola! Oh no, he got busted as well...Lackeos wrote:I'm pretty sure that he wasn't planning on boxing for like 9 more months anyway. I am confused as to why there are laws (or violations) in regards to tinting of windows.gp. wrote:They stopped him for a "window tint violation".
Yeah, sure they did.
Pulling someone over because their car's windows are overly tinted is attune to a cop entering your home because your window shades are down.
I hope he fights this. Has this "violation" been challenged in the courts?
After all, I drive quite a bit. My car's windows do not have tinting. I have noticed that the side of my face that faces the window has more sun damage than the other side of my face (wrinkles, moles, and one carcinoma spot).
Is there a correlation between community that are opposed to tinted windows and a higher level of skin cancer?

lucky him. so he has more excuses

It's not a controversial position that the Alabama police are racist. It really isn't. It's accepted by everyone in the world with the possible exception of right-wing Americans.

Bullshit, just don't break the law and you won't get in problems, skincolor has nothing to do with it.gp. wrote:punchoutsb wrote:I can't tell if you're trolling or not...gp. wrote:They stopped him for a "window tint violation".

Anyone know who sold him the weed? Prob Anthony Joshua. Anyone know who he was delivering it to? Prob Tyson Fury. Don't be fooled Wilder was just caught in the middle.

Police smells it from outside the car, mr Wilder doesn't smell it from inside the car, can you imagine how much he's used to it?

Your home is not likely to hit somebody and kill them because you couldn't see properly out of the windows.zojo, wrote:I am confused as to why there are laws (or violations) in regards to tinting of windows.gp. wrote:They stopped him for a "window tint violation".

That said, I doubt they pull people over for it very often at all.

Yes I'm sure now that I read somewhere that a worldwide summit occurred where everyone agreed to generalize a statewide police force as racist.gp. wrote:punchoutsb wrote:I can't tell if you're trolling or not...gp. wrote:They stopped him for a "window tint violation".

Wow he got busted for weed!!! Lol! I'm sure it was not his like 99% of who got busted for minor possession... It's never ours...What a waste of time. Who cares if he smokes dope? It isn't a PED. Although he is signed up for the WBC clean boxing program so I wonder if he will face any sort of small suspension? I'm sure the usual Povetkin backers/PED experts will be crying for a lynching...

No I meant the other way, class c was "lesser", class b is grading it up. Class a is coke, heroin etcgilgamesh wrote:It's been legalized in several American states as well.Ossyrules wrote:In England it's gone the other way, from Class C to a class B (where it was previously).gilgamesh wrote:Not a fan of Deontay, but I wish they'd just legalize it nationwide already. I smoked it maybe 10 times as a teenager when it was passed around at parties.. Never liked it and never got a real good high from it.. Never liked cocaine or other illegal recreational drugs either -- never got a great high from any of them. Stoners I've known are some of the most out of it people I've ever met.
Some people seem to handle drugs very well and it doesn't seem to affect their lives negatively at all.. But I would say most people don't handle their drug habits that well and they may drink to excess as well.. Just an observation because people can have problems that are invisible on the surface and don't affect their income or family that much.. I'm not anxious to see marijuana sweep the country -- though I know it's going to happen..
All my life drugs were illegal and people knew they risked being busted for possession.. Now you can buy chocolate bars loaded with pot and there's a push to legalize everything -- ostensibly to wreck the drug cartels and destroy organized crime.. Society is no naive these days I can't believe it.

Not sure I qualify as a Povetkin backer, but I've tried to encourage people to question the WBC version of events rather than take what they say as the word of God, and automatically treat Povetkin as a leper.joe strong wrote:Wow he got busted for weed!!! I certainly see no reason to call for any lynching, even in the innocent modern meaning of the word as you are using it (that's the word not the weed you're using, let's make that clear
I presume you we're joking (@ Saad) about he might have been selling it, as one hopes the heavyweight champion of the weed er I mean world, doesn't need to supplement his income, especially not by illegal means.
Anyway I'm inclined to give Deontay the benefit of the doubt at this stage, as I do Povetkin, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun with it: I loved the "Bong-squad" idea Perseus, that had me grinning from ear to ear.

Of course I was joking. If you give Povetkin the benefit when there is no doubt, you should consider Wilder downright persecuted. Nobody has ever been more guilty than Povetkin at anything. Shocks me a man of your intellect doesn't see that. You can't even offer one reasonable reason why.

I have little sympathy with guys blessed with a sporting gift who can perform at a level to earn unbelievable money in comparison to the working man, feel the need to partake in some gear.
Can't comment on the Alabama old bill being corrupt, so assuming this is straight forward, he's an idiot.

seriously man and a ton of athletes either smoke/vape or consume it. MJ is a herb, if alcohol is legal it's absolute MADNESS to have pot illegal.gilgamesh wrote:Not a fan of Deontay, but I wish they'd just legalize it nationwide already. It's all a part of the system their system
Re: Deontay Wilder arrested for possession of marijuana
They didn't want the Heavyweight Title going to a Russian, and did want to develop Russia as a great venue for World Title Fights... American promoters were extremely pissed off at Ryabinsky for winning the purse bid for Moscow... Therefore VADA totally misrepresented a PED test as a "positive" failed test when Povetkin passed with 1/14th the amount of Meldonium that easily passed the test...SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Of course I was joking. But after months of "investigation" when WADA said Povetkin passed all the tests easily, the WBC made Povetkin do tons of additional tests at his expense and fight Stiverne to get a shot at Wilder... They allowed Stiverne to slide on a failed PED test and the fight was still on... Within 24 hours of the fight. again, they flag another Povetkin PED test... This time they claimed he had 1/10th of a nanogram of Ostarine in his sample... An amount so minute that it can't be proven or disproven... And they're the Gods apparently... Nobody is allowed to question their ridiculous claim... It was the 3rd time in recent history VADA flagged a foreign boxer for Ostarine in a World Title Match: Lucas Brown, Lucian Bute, and Alexander Povetkin... All of the boxers claim it was a phony test result and they didn't cheat -- and they had no idea what the properties of Ostarine even were or reason to take it.

As far as I know, marijuana now is WAY more potent than it was 50 years ago. It is not that innocent anymore.
