Remember the Naz Ingle fight well. Bad start for Ingle and looked like he was going to be swatted aside but showed great heart and character to get back in to it. Gave Naz a bit of a scare if I remember correctly? Both were dog tired when Ingle was stopped! I've never actually watched that fight again since I watched it live. Think I'll have a look at it again later

Frampton-Quigg.

Went with two lads from work and drank around the city centre for the day. Good buzz around the place with the Irish fans "C'mon Jackal!", but I was backing Quigg. Lots of security in the run up to the station but once inside I was feeling full of liquid courage and decided I was going to try and get a little bit closer than my top tier seat - as you can see I got pretty close! I suppose its a bit concerning security wise that you are able to do that but there was a Mcdonnell stinker on and no one was paying too much attention.

Watched the whole of the Buffer/ringwalk and first round from this position as the ringside was rammed and the noise was crazy. After that the security came checking tickets and despite leaning in with the sky laptop/camera man I was rumbled and sent back to my seat but the security were very sensible and didn't make a big deal. I was just happy to have seen all the buildup up-close.

Very frustrating watching Quigg not throw for first 6 rounds but enjoyed my day!

I'm fortunate enough to call Henry a friend, and Eubank was bang on that night. I know Paul, slightly, through an ex pro who does unlicensed, even now Paul walks him to the ring. He's doing a lot better and has shed some weight. People forget how good he was. He hated leaving his mums house, even for one night, so to go to New York and do Jones was massive. He nearly flew home from the Olympics! Class kid, Ingle. Loved it when he did McMillan. Saw him not long before and he said "nobody thinks I'll win, I'm just a big eared kid from Scarborough "!.

Went to Manchester to watch Pat Barrett v Manning Galloway,dreadful fight but sat in the seat next to me was none other than Naseem Hamed who was more than happy to chat boxing and sign his autograph for me

As I've posted before, it was my stag do, 14 of us. 5 of us boxing nerds , 5 of the guys never been to a fight before, the other 4 fellas in between.

An epic week, I am dressed as a gay boxing cowboy. (Don't ask). The photo of Glencoffe JOHNSON and I doing full stare down, as I'm dressed so absurdly is still on my desk.

Tonnes of Vegas memories. Don't begrudge not going so often these days, as I've got a lovely young family, but being single,with enough coin to do damage were special memories.

I was working at an Irish pub in Fresno, California. We had the fight on a big screen. Being the resident boxing 'expert', as well as barman & "bloke with accent that may or may not be Irish" I told everyone how the fight would go.......

Corrales would start well but Castillo would wear him down & eventually stop him around the 10th round.

So the fight went EXACTLY how I told everyone it would.

In the parlance of Eddie Hearn, the card was "stacked"

Andy Holligan was having his first fight after losing to Julio Cesar Chavez in a fight I had built myself up to believe he could win I honestly thought he had maybe a 30% chance of winning going into that fight.

It was also the bill that Little beat Nunn (I mentioned that recently in another thread).

If I remember rightly Dan Murphy ("Dangerous Dan Murphy") came into the ring in a bowler hat for his bout with Oliver McCall & left a round later.

And Clifton Mitchell beat Jean-Maurice Chanet who was a tough French Gypsy fella who had beaten Derek "Sweet D" Williams who was another fighter I was convinced would 'go all the way'

Manny Pacquiao vs Marco Antonio Barrera, Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay.

Not the first fight I'd been to but the biggest.

Everywheres a decent view at the Bay so had great view. Remember being sat next to a Canadian couple who were shocked I'd come all the way from England to watch the fight.

Mike Tyson was sat ringside and I had my picture took with Daniel Ponce De Leon coming out of the fight before you get back to the casino!

The fight didn't live up to the billing but I did have money on Pacquioa and it was never it doubt from my recollection but when I got home I was surprised the guys on Setanta and on the boxing forums over here had it fairly close.

It certainly wasn't from where I watched it... Oh and a minor scuffle broke out in the crowd too, to the right and a few rows down from me and they were swiftly ejected.

Second time in Vegas, 20 years old.
I knew it was going to be a great fight and waited for what seemed like months before it was confirmed and I could book my flights.
Remembered for the handwrap scandal, but it was a great fight.
