Kovalev won

Post by Jip »

Kovalev won the first 7 rounds. Ward didnt win 1 single round. I saw a lot of wrestling, holding and low blows from ward, but he didnt win one round where you could clearly say he won it. After round 5 the camera was showing wards face, his cheek bones were swollen red, he knew he had the pro black on his side and he could swing for the balls and nothing would happen.

The pro black ref let all the low blows happen, like it was normal. In round 8 ward was taking energy from kovalev landing low blows, at the end he landed a shot to kovalevs face, serguy was wobbly, ward followed up with borderline low blows just to finish it with 2-3 clear low blows. No standing count, just waved it off. I dq'd ward and declare kovalev the winner by 8 dq win. He is now 2:0 against ward. First fight ud win, second dq win.

4 rounds to 3 for Kovalev at the time of the stoppage. Stoppage was f*cky, Kovalev looking to the ref for help, Ward landing a borderline low blow that Tony Weeks had already basically allowed earlier. Kovalev f*cked up and costs himself the fight. Stoppage was awful though.

I agree. Weeks may in fact be racist against Kovalev and thats why he refused to call the low blows. Or it may have been a nationalistic bias as well. He may have actually been paid off by Ward's promoter as well. Or maybe a combination of all 3 to explain his biased officiating.

And as fans who see this sport for what it is (nationalistic, racist, hometown or otherwise corrupt officiating) the best thing you can do is walk away from it :TU:

Just too many bad decisions, outright robberies, blatant corruption every. single. weekend. in this sport to take it seriously. Boxing has hit rock bottom in the past year or so.

I havent watched a single fight since November 2016, and only maybe 1 or 2 in the last year. Good riddance. Its a sh1t, dying sport.

I don't think it has so much to do with racism... It's nationalism... They're trying to keep title over here... And even if you fight over here they want Americans holding those titles... They wouldn't flagrantly appoint all American officials again because they got heaps of criticism last time.

Timmy losing 12 rounds against pac, gets the descision.

Ward losing every round, doing wrestling, holding, low blows, 0 point deduction, result ward winner by tko.

Mayweather against maidana. Maidana landing clear shots, hurting floyd. Floyd wrestling and excessive holding. Result mayweather ud winner.

Always black refferys, always the black boxer wins in highways robberys or closing the eyes to illegal actions. Those blacks are raccists!

I make sense. I wrote down exactly what happened. So if u dont like what i wrote than you dont accept the truth, the reality. Than you must be crazy.

If you dont saw the low blows, the bad refferying from weeks, than you didnt saw the fight or maybe u watched it with eyes closed.

Ward didnt win 1 clear round in both fights.

First fight. 8-9 rds for kovalev/~4 close or 10:10 rds

Second fight. 5-6 rds for kovalev/~2 close or 10:10 rds

Jip, you should relax a little dude. It is apparent that you score boxing while clouded with bias. I can't stand ward either, but damn... try to be a tad bit objective.

Yes Jip listen to that advice. You make people (or me) who are fans of boxer punchers or just any boxer who you like stupider by association. Can you just stick to supporting Pacquiao who is still active. Maybe if you behave boxrec users will chip in and buy you a signed copy of the clitoris gloves he likes to wear.

What does any of this accomplish? In all seriousness, what good is this? Grown ass men acting like infants. Grow up. Move on. This is dumb. This isn't life.

The truth is Ward fought much better than in first fight, it was close fight, I don't like Ward's style but IMO he had little advantage.

Yeah, grow up. Realize that sports are not supposed to be a fair competition.

I personally think that Kovalev won the second fight 9 rounds to 3.

(I'm being facetious, but some of the idiots in this thread aren't.)

This is what I'm saying. No matter who won, my life is going on. Should Kovalev been given a breather if Weeks saw the low blow, sure. If he didn't maybe a standing 8, why not. Was Kovalev going to storm back, no, he was mentally and physically shot IMO.

I have grown men, at least in their 40's or 50's throwing insults at me. Grown men saying they will never watch the sport again. Grown men sending me PM's talking shyt. Grow the F up guys.

The ring was actually a hologram last night, if you shifted to the left Kovalev won every second and he scores the KO. If you shifted to the right, the lights dim but yet again the Russian scores a KO. Only if you looked directly at the fight does the truth reveal itself. We have a gaggle of soft, soft people here who just can't handle what really happened. Fortunately it doesn't mean a thing. AND STILL.

YOU can't handle the fact that there are rules in Boxing... Not even a master boxer cannot defend against low blows very well... They're debilitating.

Ward's game plan was going low and staying low... Weeks was there to facilitate the strategy.
