I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
Max saying ward is p4p#1 and should face joshua.
All those black boxers/people happy that the white guy lost, acting like nothing happened, that everything was normal in that fight. Not 1 person said "all those low blows were terrible"
But when one boxer punches a black boxer a milli second after the bell than it is okay to sucker punch the opponent
Shame on a big part of the boxing community. Shame on weeks who was close to serguy saw 2-3 low blows and just refused to deduct a point from ward. Shame on ward for using illegal tactics and shame on the commision who found nothing unusual in the whole fightnight.
Boxing was criminal and still is to this day!

You just as fault because if this happened the other you wouldn't complaining about this result. Your no different than the black fans you claim back Ward win.

You seem a tad obsessed with race.
The ironic thing is, Ward is mixed race & Tony Weeks; as Richard Pryor used to say, "I didn't come out of Africa looking like this": he's quite light skinned himself & is probably mixed race too.
You can claim that you're not happy with the officiating etc, but race is probably the last thing to do with it.
Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
I'm 100% certain Max Kellerman never said Ward should face Joshua so I quit reading your post after that 1st sentence
If you're just gonna make sh*t up, I don't care what you have to say.

Yeah, I remember there being absolutely no outrage with the Dirrell's and their sucker punch. People didn't care a bit.

Kovalev is a jerk from a vilage with zero morals. He acts like dirty arrogant pig
I was happy saw him losing today. His ego was too high.
Pacman lost =Milion excuses
Kovalev lost = Milion excuses
Tyson lost = bilion prime Tyson excuses
boo booo boo
Every smart boxing fan knows that Kovalev was going lose today . No matter what if Ward is dirty or not.
Sergai gassed out and his stamina is worse and worse

I don't know if it's diminishing, or whether is down to the way Ward fights & the fact that he's a high quality opponent (arguably Sergey's best opponent), but I have not been impressed with his stamina in either fight.
He trotted out the old Manny Steward classic of 'over-training' for the first fight: what excuse will he use now (someone massaged his legs

Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
you are right, i have never ever seen a black man cheering for white boxer against black one. Just remembering when Abraham punched Dirrell against rules (he punched him while he was on knee if i remember) and all blacks in arena went crazy
.
Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
Racial cheerleading is a huge part of boxing. Some want to think it happens just one way, but it comes in abundance from many corners.

I guest just because you haven't seen it. Emanuel Steward trained Andy Lee, Andy Lee fought black guys...Emanuel Steward would've been happy to see Andy beat those black guys. Emanuel Steward was a black guy himself. Your logic is flawed.Cent0089 wrote:you are right, i have never ever seen a black man cheering for white boxer against black one. This is why Floyd has reached the heights he has because of the hate for him has generated everyone to pay "hoping" he loses.crusader wrote:Racial cheerleading is a huge part of boxing. Some want to think it happens just one way, but it comes in abundance from many corners.

Whether they pay to see you win or pay to see you lose. The money is green either way.world ranked wrote:This is why Floyd has reached the heights he has because of the hate for him has generated everyone to pay "hoping" he loses.crusader wrote:Racial cheerleading is a huge part of boxing. But for him the money is more than anyone else because he tapped into that Mexican market, Ufc market, hate market. Nobody really pays for Floyd ppv to see him win.gilgamesh wrote:Whether they pay to see you win or pay to see you lose. Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
I'd say it also explains much of his fan base
Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
Just saying. I was in London on Klitschko-Joshua fight and 90% of whites including me were cheering for Joshua. You will never ever seen this, even if some american white boxer fights in New York against someone from Congo .....will all black people in arena cheering after african guy is getting KO´d? I doubt. Just like original poster wrote, black fans (and not only them) acting like it was normal stoppage and showcasing of brilliant boxing skills by Ward.world ranked wrote:I guest just because you haven't seen it. Europe is different from the US. US fans don't blindly cheer for the US guy. The usually take a smarter approach.Cent0089 wrote:Just saying. Of course not but. The real boxing fans usually knows better.crusader wrote:Is going by race smarter?
Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
It just depends on the individual. I don't cheer fighters due to their race, I cheer them because I like the way they fight. I've been a fan of fighters from several different ethnic backgrounds.crusader wrote:Is going by race smarter?
