For me it's largely a combo of style and personality. I think there's just so much more to fighters than where they're from or what race they are.gilgamesh wrote:It just depends on the individual. This Jip guy has been an asshole throughout this whole debate, for what reason?
Yeh, the black master race, you know the people on the Earth who own everything,
who enslaved AND RAPED half the world,
the people called MONKEYS by people who have had any negative contact with an African nation, ever.
Hearing people complain about the "privileged" minorities is like listening to men complain about "privileged" women.
It's all misplaced hate. Instead of blaming the rich in your "race", WHO ACTUALLY ABUSE YOU, you use the rich man's EXCUSE to hate the poor.
It's been done forever, and has been the main cause of many atrocities throughout recent history.
Because when you turn on the poor violently, they have little to no means to defend themselves.

Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
He's had stamina issues for a while and has admitted gassing in several fights, including amateur bouts against Beterbiev and Korobov, and pro bouts against Boone, Chilemba, and Ward; I also think he looked to be breathing heavily and getting ragged against Cleverly shortly before he hurt him in the third. Some people suggested prior to the rematch that he'd never had stamina problems against anyone but Ward, but that's not true at all...Syntax Error wrote:Kovalev's stamina is definitely suspect.IronFrost wrote:Kovalev is a jerk from a vilage with zero morals. I was happy saw him losing today. His ego was too high.
Pacman lost =Milion excuses
Kovalev lost = Milion excuses
Tyson lost = bilion prime Tyson excuses
boo booo boo
Every smart boxing fan knows that Kovalev was going lose today . No matter what if Ward is dirty or not.
Sergai gassed out and his stamina is worse and worse
I don't know if it's diminishing, or whether is down to the way Ward fights & the fact that he's a high quality opponent (arguably Sergey's best opponent), but I have not been impressed with his stamina in either fight.
He trotted out the old Manny Steward classic of 'over-training' for the first fight: what excuse will he use now (someone massaged his legs)?
So, it's been a longstanding issue, but, in the pros at least, it took a P4P #1 fighter to exploit it sufficiently to defeat him.

No, when he was gambling pushups he mentioned that he was too fat to do a sit up or a pull up. Ordinarily I wouldn't rag on him, but he got personal with me and then cried like a baby when I responded about his obesity. So now he's JellyInPerson.armageto wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:The land of marshmallow men. He's quite fat.armageto wrote:Where is Jip, the forum's expert, from?![]()

Jesus, I'm not in the shape of my younger days, but not being able to do a situp is unhealthy.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:No, when he was gambling pushups he mentioned that he was too fat to do a sit up or a pull up. Indeed, I lost 40 pounds a few years ago and even at my fattest I could blast out 50 crunches on request.armageto wrote:Jesus, I'm not in the shape of my younger days, but not being able to do a situp is unhealthy.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:No, when he was gambling pushups he mentioned that he was too fat to do a sit up or a pull up. I lost 90 pounds in the last year or so (to clarify I was only about 50 pounds overweight, the other 40 pounds was because I was getting horribly malnourished due to a medical issue, but that's another story), and even at my fattest I could've at least cranked out 20.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Indeed, I lost 40 pounds a few years ago and even at my fattest I could blast out 50 crunches on request.armageto wrote:Jesus, I'm not in the shape of my younger days, but not being able to do a situp is unhealthy.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:

That is not true. I see no coulurs when i watch boxing. May the better man win. I dislike boxer who box dirty, period.world ranked wrote:You just as fault because if this happened the other you wouldn't complaining about this result. Your no different than the black fans you claim back Ward win.

You know what i think. I think those black boxers are obsessed with race and cant give credit to a white boxer or asian boxer. They rassist.Syntax Error wrote:Are you partying like it's 1786?Jip wrote:Max saying ward is p4p#1 and should face joshua.
All those black boxers/people happy that the white guy lost, acting like nothing happened, that everything was normal in that fight. Not 1 person said "all those low blows were terrible"
But when one boxer punches a black boxer a milli second after the bell than it is okay to sucker punch the opponent
Shame on a big part of the boxing community. Shame on weeks who was close to serguy saw 2-3 low blows and just refused to deduct a point from ward. Shame on ward for using illegal tactics and shame on the commision who found nothing unusual in the whole fightnight.
Boxing was criminal and still is to this day!
You seem a tad obsessed with race.
The ironic thing is, Ward is mixed race & Tony Weeks; as Richard Pryor used to say, "I didn't come out of Africa looking like this": he's quite light skinned himself & is probably mixed race too.
You can claim that you're not happy with the officiating etc, but race is probably the last thing to do with it.
Pacquiao is a steriod cheat
Kovalev is overrated
GGG has 0 special effects
That are the quotes from black boxers. They seem obsessed in a negativ way towards white boxers, rarly give them any credit.
Race has a lot to do with it when you have jay z and prince putting millions into ward, with a black ref not protecting the white boxer from illegal blows numerous times.

Re: I realy dislike a big part of the boxing community
I somewhat recently hurt my back and very recently tore my lcl. After I'm done with some physical therapy I am planning on getting into superb shape. I think a big reason for my recent injuries is my lack of flexibility. Ice always been in good shape. But my flexibility has always sucked. So I plan on getting to the point to where I can do splits and such. I am also planning on doing these pull up variations...

You know what I think? Your lack of ability to spell or use grammar properly might be a symptom of an all around lack of intelligence in general, and your thoughts on racism may be a symptom of that as well.Jip wrote:

I feel you man. Definitely get back into it though. I've gained a bit of a gut over the past year. My wife looks at me funny now even though she says I look fine.... whatever. I'm coming back with a vengeance. I'm 43 and I plan on being in the best shape of my life come next year.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I had a slight bicep tear and shoulder injury a year ago.
