Conor actually started out in amateur boxing before he did mma. Boxing was his first combat sport. Now obviously that still doesn't mean he has a hope in hell of beating Floyd but he's not someone that has never boxed at all.Boxing Writer wrote:But people are dumb enough to buy Mayweather vs McGregor, who has about as much chances to beat Floyd in boxing as Lionel Messi's youngest son. And before some of Conor's/MMA/UFC fans say "Oh, but Conor has a puncher chance", can they explain me how exactly a guy with ZERO boxing experience and ZERO boxing skills would land a decent punch on a one of the best defenisive boxers of all time if great fighters like Marquez and De La Hoya couldn't do it?Tarkus wrote:Noone is so dumb to take that seriously and therefore no ppv sells. However if they make Ronaldo vs Messi boxing match now that would sell big.
Seriously, if Floyd would fight C. Ronaldo or Messi, how big it would sell ?

So, sleeping with a fighter makes you a fighter?asdfjkl wrote:Ronaldo is secretly very close with Badr Hari actually. A secretly gay high level heavyweight kickboxer from Marocco. Badr Hari isn't a top footbalplayer either, but you learn at least something from each other.Impractical Poster wrote:So, sleeping with a fighter makes you a fighter?asdfjkl wrote:Ronaldo is secretly very close with Badr Hari actually. What do you think about Gari Kasparov ? Would he be a proper opponent for FMJ ?

I've kind of got this life long habit of not googling gay stuff so I think I'll pass.asdfjkl wrote:There are so many secrets I know, I'm not going to reveil all their sources, but you can probably find some evidence out there if you google it.punchoutsb wrote:If it's a secret, how do you know? In the Netherlands there are a lot of Maroccan immigrants and all of them love Badr Hari, basically, Badr is the only Maroccan professional sporter I have ever heard of. They said to me that he's the best heavyweight kickboxer out there while I knew that the Dutch dominated the kickbox heavyweight league for well over 3 decades now. That's why I googled him and I noticed he was... Well let's say very very close to Ronaldo.punchoutsb wrote:I've kind of got this life long habit of not googling gay stuff so I think I'll pass.asdfjkl wrote:There are so many secrets I know, I'm not going to reveil all their sources, but you can probably find some evidence out there if you google it.punchoutsb wrote:

I knew Ronaldo, because he's adored by Maroccans as well. Now I'm not into the gaystuff either, but the Maroccan immigrants in the Netherlands clearly are. That's basically how I got to know them.

THe real question here is... How big it would sell if Ronaldo and Messi had boxing match.
It would be much more than Floyd vs Conor.
I will be surprised if Floyd vs Conor sells as well as Pac vs May. Boxing fans will want to watch. MMA fans will watch. Casuals? I don't think so.

Messi would never accept that, it would be a complete mismatch, it's like putting Michael Jordan and Britney Spears in a boxing match, it would be a dream come true for Jordan.Heretic wrote:THe real question here is... How big it would sell if Ronaldo and Messi had boxing match.

Fuk that. Messi would murder him. Have you ever seen Ronaldo take a tackle and not cry. Messi always straight back up. Messi would mess Ronaldo hair and he'd quitasdfjkl wrote:Messi would never accept that, it would be a complete mismatch, it's like putting Michael Jordan and Britney Spears in a boxing match, it would be a dream come true for Jordan.Heretic wrote:THe real question here is... They should combine them. 3 rounds of boxing and if the mma guy lasts it switches to mma. That would be incredibly intense and dramatic.punchoutsb wrote:Obviously this is a parody thread, but this little gem right here is absolutely true.Thomastearns wrote:But if you want to break all the records just make the Mayweather McGregor fight a two header with the return being MMA.
I predict it will happen someday between two big(ish) stars of each sport, but obviously won't happen this time. You know Conor is down for it, but Floyd would never do something like that.

I actually think it's the exact opposite. They'll get millions of buys from people that don't regularly watch mma or boxing. The kind of guy at a party who might ask about a canelo/Joshua fight. They'll all be talking about "the fight" you'll see about a thousand celebrities at this thing.Heretic wrote:THe real question here is... How big it would sell if Ronaldo and Messi had boxing match.

Lol, that's the demographic for this one.Chippo wrote:A girl and my boss were talking about it at work yesterday.
