Why the fxxk is the Ward/Kovalev thread locked?

There are topics on same subject in CS, which are still open, so why the need to start one here?

Any chance you could disable the changing thread titles option? Very annoying when a poster changes the title of an old thread and you click it and have to trawl through all the old posts to get to the new ones.

This is a case of someone misunderstanding the role of moderator.

They are there to make sure that no-one is calling Ward the N word, or abusing other posters. Just because the mod is bored of the topic, it is not his business to stop it unless the abuse has got to the point of no return.

Real amateur hour. Pathetic in fact.

The annoying thing is, those sort of things actually do happen regularly on CS & OT, but no action is ever taken by mods. If they want to let such things go then fair enough, we're all adults and should be able to look after ourselves. Just don't take a laissez-faire attitude to trolling and abuse, and then start locking the few threads where boxing is actually being discussed!

There's an arrow icon next to the title. If you click on that it will take you to latest unread post in the topic.

I may not have read any posts in the topic though.

Then it takes you to the very first post. Like I said, it takes you to the first unread post. Great feature.

I've used it. It's a good feature. But I don't necessarily read every thread. And say I open a thread that's old but has had the title changed (sometimes the title has been changed numerous times), there is just no way to get to the more recent posts without trawling through the thread which is very offputting. For example say a thread was made 3 months ago and then had the title changed about 3 times and then I click on the thread for the first time and have to start trawling through the pages to get to the posts from today. I haven't seen thread titles being changed on other forums, probably for this reason.

Half the features on the forum don't work though which irritating at times. The search function is terrible most of the time.
