We're 40 mins in and we've had two mis-match blowouts and loads of waffle.
Still next up we have the favourite to win in Round 1 @ 2/1... :witzend:

Fowler looks like he'll be good to watch tbf.

Not bad effort from Anthony Fowler, better than his debut (where he should have been disqualified) against a stubborn if limited opponent.

King is fighting a guy with 6 wins, a KO :box: never been stopped in 22 losses and outweighing him !?

Guy must've slept with Eddie's wife to be thrown in so deep !

loads of room for improvement for sure, but crap ? !

He has the look of a Jamie Moore type for me. He's got a FOTY British title win in him, but unlikely to go much further.
I reckon his career will be a great watch.

I think the answer about any plans for King's future from Eddie should be taken with a pinch of salt. E looked embarrassed when he was asked about it.

Hard to see how good Kelly is from that because I've no idea how good Whitfield was, he folded very quickly.

As expected Whitfield was out of his depth but that was a quality finish from Kelly, a left jab then 7 left hooks, cant remember seeing anything like that before, well played sir :salut:

Adam Booth freaks the bejeezus out of me. Kelly's cockiness does my head in. 3 fights in and he's already the pro I'd most like to see laid flat on his back.

another thing that freaks me out is how the end of Anna Woolhouse's nose distorts while she talks.

Never understood this mentality personally. People used to feel the same about Eubank and Naz.

For me its just tall poppy syndrome - "he's much better looking and more talented than I am so I hope he gets knocked unconscious". lame mentality.

Kelly looks superb, even accounting for the quality of the opposition tonight. I'll look forward to him moving up a few levels for sure.

Not convinced by Fowler. Seems to think he's Carl Froch already. He'll bomb several out for a while but get starched at fringe world level is my guess.

Is the corner allowed to use a towel during a round when a fighters being examined? Did the ref even call time to get the doc to check the cut? Do I care enough to rewind it and check?

Ya, cus Eubank and Naz were real lookers, right?

There must be a lot of people out there jealous of how tall, smart, and handsome Broner is! Oh, and those legal problems and 7 kids from 6 mamas are pretty enviable too!

It has absolutely nothing to do with whether Kelly is "better looking" or not. That low hands, punch-flicking style, to me, exudes disrespect for the opponent and irritates me because it's so arrogant. Just an opinion. If that makes me petty, jealous or some kind of closet homosexual so be it.

In theory, if Kelly has his hands down, and operating without a defence, then maybe he's easier to punch? It is what it is. He will probably get chinned by someone that has something about him. I've never been an advocate of the arrogant low hands style, but if you're opponent can't hit an open target, that's not Kelly's fault.

Made at super middle because of his opponent. Saunders weighed 151. Expect him to be welter now rather than light-welter.
