Golovkin's funny quotes list , LOL

Post by apollo creed »

''I'm ready, I want. I believe it's possible.

I don't know. Maybe after this fight I'm finished, maybe not. I feel very good. OK I'm 35 but I feel like I'm 25. But this is boxing, not soccer, it's not a game, this is a fight and every fight is very difficult.

I spoke only with my promoter, Tom Loeffler. This is business. Right now I think this is the best time for us, for everybody. I believe Canelo is ready, this is a big gift to boxing fans. I know him. I have [a] plan. I believe Canelo's team have a p[...]

This is boxing. Everybody knows we have power, I think it's 50-50.

I know you like to talk, but you're [a] boxer, not a promoter. You can speak to my promotional team.

I respect my opponent, he was a strong man and a good fighter. Who's next? It doesn't matter. I'm ready.

Did y'all noticed that GGG doesn't use anymore the appellation 'good boy' ?

I can not see anything funny in these quotes. I suppose that you know that English is his third or fourth language, and it could be difficult to express oneself properly and precisely in a foreign language.

When the fighter talk about retiring BEFORE the fight it's a bad sign and a prod for the establishment to favor the guy who will fight for the long term who will bring more $$$ to the industry (Canelo). The hints and clues are accumulating that Canelo is going to win the fight. :OhYes:

Golovkin speaks Kazakh and Russian really well... He also knows a smattering of German, Tajiki, Tatar, Turkish, Ukrainian, Uyghur, Uzbek, and English.

How well does Canelo speak English??? ... How well do Luis Ortiz, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Erislandy Lara, Leo Santa Cruz, Roman Gonzalez, Oleksandr Usyk, Alexander Povetkin, Viktor Postol, and Oleksandr Gvozdyk speak English??? ... Triple-G has made an effort to learn the language so fk your stupidity.

It's something his trainer mentioned.. If you think it's so easy and fun to communicate in a foreign language -- how come so many North American fighters haven't learned even a smattering of English yet??? They've had years to learn, certainly, and it would be easier for them.. Trying to communicate with people in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th languages is an everyday item for people from many parts of the world... and it's not great fun.

GGG knowing all those languages is an utter bullsh!t. He is fluent in Russian and Kazakh and knows some German, English and very basic Spanish.
