On a serious note I'm glad more insider information is getting shared with the public, so I thought I'd share a story.
I remember around the time Floyd Mayweather was about to sign to fight Oscar De La Hoya, there was a rumour going around, one that will never be releaved to the public. We called a meet up to discuss it and we said things, things that will never be written. By the time we knew the full story was known someone, someone who cannot be named, done something, something I cannot say to the public. My reaction will never be published.

Re: Frank Bruno's eye operation
To be honest if your a real boxing fan the book tells you nothing new. It's all been told before in other books.
Some of Buncey' s writing is a bit confusing. For example a fighter getting like 50 grand for a British title fight in the late seventies then a fighter getting 3 grand for a world title fight in the 90s. I think his maths is a bit off or he wrote the figures down too quickly.

What happened to his eye, and when?
Re: Frank Bruno's eye operation
It was said that his eyesight was not up the standard required by the Board and that he made a trip to Colombia for an operation described as "pioneering" by Mickey Duff in order to get licenced.
