You know, whether its the hundreds of hometown robberies that happen every single day in this sport, or the recent Ward lowblow KO of Kovalev (photo evidence clearly showing he was punched in the balls but NSAC officials calling it a legal blow, are they fcuking blind? The idea of a sport is that it is a fair competition where athletes are competing against each other and the result is objectively based on merit. In this regard, boxing is no longer a sport, but seems to have become something that more closely resembles the WWE or a sports enterainment. Results are no longer based on merit, and fixed decisions and robberies have become the norm where race, nationality, popularity or the promoter backing is what determines the result. Officiating is deplorably corrupt and nobody even cares to do anything about it.

The latest news off the chopper is that for the upcoming GGG VS Canelo fight, GGG who is an ***UNDISPUTED CHAMPION*** with a very long reign, will actually enter the ring first, and Canelo who doesn't hold a single belt will be treated as though he is the champion with the right to enter the ring last and have himself introduced as though he were the champion. In doing so, this defies hundreds of years of tradition and signals another ridiculous black eye for this sport. This is ridiculous, abso-fcuking-lutely appalling and shows every single thing that is wrong with this sport. The background for this fight - Canelo delaying until GGG finally looked old and vulnerable also typifies what is wrong with this sport.

Canelo entering the ring first shows that this sport is no longer based on merit, and seems to have no consistency whatsoever in the manner in which it is officiated. It also highlights corruption in the sport as Canelo's promotional backing and drawing power has given him unfair advantages.

I haven't watched a single fight in over a year, and there is no way I'm watching GGG-Canelo after this. What a farce. Boxing in the US is a dead sport (Ward, supposed P4P #1 can't even draw more than 2,000 fans to his fight). Wlad-Joshua was a big fight but that was in the UK, and the truth is in North America boxing is dead, in Europe it is dying. Its become an entertainment with no credibility whatsoever.

As such, boxing can no longer be considered a sport. Boxing must be more appropriately considered as an entertainment, not much different than WWE or going to a music concert.

As a purist, I don't like it. GGG is the champion and he deserves to be taking the second walk BUT Canelo is still actually the REAL lineal Middleweight Champion if you think about it. Sure he vacated it waiting for GGG to get older enough for him to beat but he was the man that beat the man that beat the man at MW. There's that, and the real reason for it. Canelo is following the diva model that Floyd created and exploited.... which is that it's all about the money and title belts matter not. Who generates the most money? That boxer gets his way from top to bottom no matter what.

I can understand it but I don't like it. GGG deserves to ice his challengers on the way to the ring. But I bet this makes GGG even more dangerous and angry. Good luck Canelo.
