The belt is a lottery ticket. Either the winner or the loser of GGG/Canelo would be looking to fight Saunders. Not a prayer he takes this fight now and nor should he tbh. Find a pudding in the WBO Top 15 and keep that belt nice and warm for the cashout

Surely a load of fluff. Cancelled BJS fights remind me of the old FW cards. They get announced, get promoted and then don't go ahead.

Lemiuex wasn't overly impressive in his last bout but I suspect he'd make easy work of Saunders.
Agree, but I thought he was very impressive against Stevens. And he has been very busy compared to BS, who will have second degree rust no matter who he fights next.

Is Saunders with booth ? Because it doesn't look like it.

If Saunders is like he was against Akavov Lemieux will smash him to bits. And if his training situation isn't fixed then that is going to happen.

Billy to me seems like a guy who needs to be very active to stop him really getting out of shape. I'd read James Toney was the same in the early 90s.

His activity for me is very worrying.

He fought Eubank Jr at the end of 2014 then it was 13 months until he fought Lee with only a tick over between.

Then it was another year until he fought what was supposed to be an easy fight v Akavov ( which I had him losing 115-113)

Now it is going to be 9 months out of the ring. If it is Lemieux ( which I really hope it is) then David isn't coming here to just try his best like Akavov. He will be coming here to smash Saunders to bits.

Yep - loads of issues around him at the minute.

Chopping and changing trainers; think he's now had three in the last six months.

Fat as fornicate outside training - even turned up at light heavy for that pointless stay busy fight between Eubank and Lee.

Pathetic performance against Akavov - could easily have lost.

I just don't think there's any self-discipline there and the fact that Tibbs and Booth both seem to have washed their hands of him suggests big problems. Training with Team Fury isn't going to do him any favours. Tyson's been on the comeback trail all year and he's still looking morbidly obese.

hE'S GOT A BELT THE WINNER OF canelo -GGG is going to want it , . so he'll avoid anyone with a pulse , until after there fight ,, then he'll demand too much money , miss out on that one , fight a number 10 -15 rated guy and get beat , then want a rematch with Eubank

Would be interesting to see how the bookies priced this up. I suspect they'll probably have BJS as favourite which seems ludicrous.

Bookies know what they're doing, Steve. The odds will reflect what they think punters will bet on.
