Very good fighter. I honestly wished he had fought Milton McCrory, and they shouldn't have matched him with Curry so soon, to be honest. I think him getting his jaw broke by Thomad Hearns slowed down his momentum.

He was very good. He had the misfortune of facing a prime Donald Curry early in his career. Otherwise, he would have been a champion sooner.

I believe he had trouble making weight late in his career and looked weakened at 147 - especially against Blocker.

In short, he was terrific. Much underrated.

I thought he beat Donald Curry in there first fight, but in the rematch, Curry turned in a possible career best performance.

He may have given Ray Leonard his toughest fight had he not retired, Duran also. Would've handled Cuevas.
