Kovalev moving to Cruiser ?

Reading the referenced article in Russian, I think that Kovalev meant CW, not HW. Russians call a CW a "Heavy Weight" and HW a "Super Heavy Weight" which caused the confusion, as he said "Heavy Weight".

How do you think he can perform against top cruisers? I don't think his chances against strong guys like Gassiev and Briedis are good. Usyk will likely outslap him.

Ducking Adonis Stevenson again?

Why doesn't he become his mandatory challenger and finally get that fight done?

This article appears to confirm the sacking of John David Jackson, which is interesting.

It'll be kind of funny if Kovalev and Ward start sharing the same training camp, facilities and coach, as well as possibly sparring against each other... assuming Sergey really does want to employ Virgil Hunter.

Yes he said CW in Russian interview, under 90kg. Personally I dont think he has CW body but if he feels drained at LHW he better move up and roll the dice. I am sure he can beat most CWs anyways.

Smart, but cowardly!

Fight Stevenson, or be remembered for the rest of time as a coward!

Why should I?

If he refuses to fight Stevenson again, then he is clearly a massive pussy.

Fight him or be remembered as a pusstard!

Kovalev is on record as having ducked Stevenson once.

Why is he running away again, when he can become the mandatory challenger and get a clear shot at the title?

Is Kovalev a chicken? Or is he a real man?

Does he have an obligation to fight Stevenson? Is Stevenson running away from pretty much every good LHW given his opposition over the last few years?

Yes, he does have an obligation to fight Stevenson!

I thought this was the fight everyone wanted to see.

Why are all of the creeps crawling out of the woodwork now to defend Kovalev from running away from this fight?

Kovalev apologists can go suck a todger! Homos!

Adonis Stevenson won't even face his mandatory of two years Eleider Alvarez, so what makes you think he'd actually go through with fighting Kovalev? A purse bid being ordered doesn't mean that Stevenson was actually going to fight.

Kovalev was his mandatory challenger before and he ducked out of the fight, not Stevenson.

Kovalev has more to prove than Stevenson.

Kovalev should stay at light heavyweight and be a man instead of running away.

I guess Adonis has been too busy with guys like Karpency and Williams.
