Ward vs Badou Jack or Stevenson/Alvarez ?

Post by apollo creed »

I think one of these guys could be Ward's next opponent if no Kovalev III.

SOGgy v Stevenson is the fight but Alvarez has been waiting a longtime for his shot.

I want Ward vs Beterbiev. The Chechen would most certainly retaliate against low blows.

Beterbiev needs to beat someone if he wants a crack at SOGgy. The Barrera scalp would have been a good one. Even the loser of Barrera v Smith Jr would be a good step. Stevenson, Alvarez, and the winner of Barrera v Smith Jr have their credentials. Maybe Beterbiev v Gvodzyk would get one of them up there.

If SOGgy can't get Stevenson he may move up and go for Huck or Lebedev first.

Barrera refused to fight him and so did some others. He is in a situation of pre-Maklin Golovkin or pre-Algieri Spence when nobody wants an almost certain KO loss for laughable money.

3G was already a belt holder. The Spence comparison is a bit more like it.
