Him and Alvarez are linked, iirc both were part of the same amateur team, signed with the same promoter and moved together early. He's had a few injuries. Solid puncher

Re: Oscar Rivas
I believe he was meant to take a big step up, against an American. Possibly Mansour, don't quote me on that, but had problems with his eye(s). Surgery I think?

Re: Oscar Rivas
He's not allowed to fight in America due to his eyes so he has most of his fights in Canada instead. He's been pretty inactive of late and struggles to get any meaningful fights.

This indeed, I'd like to see him against Tyrone Spong.African Monkey wrote:He's not allowed to fight in America due to his eyes so he has most of his fights in Canada instead. He's been pretty inactive of late and struggles to get any meaningful fights.

Funny, I just came across this bloke yesterday while trolling through records. Hasn't fought in almost a year. Also sat out the whole of 2013. Not a great strategy for a fighter now in his 30's.

He looks the business, he just needs to fight more often.

Exactly, especially as long as nobody has beaten him.milpool wrote:You want to see everyone against Tyrone Spong.asdfjkl wrote:This indeed, I'd like to see him against Tyrone Spong.African Monkey wrote:He's not allowed to fight in America due to his eyes so he has most of his fights in Canada instead.
