Buchholz doesn't come across very well either. Seems like he's upset he never got any credit for Dillashaw's success.

I do wish Bellator would put more effort into putting on great fights between their prospects and guys still in their prime versus a lot of the circus show type events they tend to put on. I can understand the latter to help sell the cards but the rest of the card should be better matchups in the way the UFC by and large do.
I love the Circus fights. Hopefully they'll do more. Few and far between up until now.

I'm with ya Saad. The circus acts are the main things that ever catch my interest from Bellator. They're the B team as far as the Young, Prime cream of the crop MMA stars go, but they can pick up old favorites that are past their best and give 'em a few more fights.

I've always been a big fan of Wanderlei. Hope he kicks Sonnen's ass.

Bellator is pretty good getting prospects. Nice little blog on pico at ESPN. They've been paying him for almost four years and he debuts tomorrow.

I read somewhere that Heather Hardy was hot. Not sure if it was in here or elsewhere, whomever it was. I disagree.

Yes!!!!!!!!!! The alter boy takes down the greatest prospect ever. Guy enters the cage to elevator music. Shuts down the hype before it starts. Love it.

Some *very* disappointed top level brass following that rather quick Pico era. Obviously the kid will be back, but it was stupid to match a novice with a tough 10 fight vet. People underestimate pro experience all the time...they shouldn't do that!

I was rooting for Ramsay, but now he's out, I'd like to see either Dhiego Lima or Tom Gallicchio take it. But, I feel Jesse Taylor will probably take it. Krause could definitely take this too. But, Taylor's suffocating lay and prey style will most likely stifle anything anyone can do at this level.
I like toothless tom and jesse taylor, jesse was good in, think it was tuf 7,stupidity got him kicked off though. They are all good the ones that are left imo but tom or jesse im rooting for

That was a pretty good card last night. I've always been an MMA fan rather than a fan of a specific org, but while the UFC is king right now Bellator is just more fun. It's awesome having Goldie back, he's corny as ever but I love the guys commentary. He and Mauro will be great for Bellator.

Gotta admit, it's rough seeing Fedor and Wand look like they did. Not that they lost, but just how old and fragile they both looked. PRIDE was such a huge part of my life experience, I ate up everything they did back then. Tough to see guys age; I hope they both call it quits.

Meathead is the best Bellator heavy, he finally gives that division some life. Chael/Tito rematch incoming in 3....2....1....

fun card lastnight from Bellator. Some fun matches to be made coming off the back of it.
Mitrione vs. Kongo for the Bellator HW Title.
Sonnen vs. King Mo. Fedor vs. Rampage/Wanderlei. Lima vs. McDonald.
both Primus vs. Chandler and Pico vs. Freeman should be rematched...

Man that third round was tough watching. He had no offence at all, just a punching bag at this point

it seems much too much of a barbaric kind a sport for someone like me to watch.
knocking down someone and then jumping on top of them to either pound them or choke them into submission.
sort of reminds me of reading about the Last Days of the Roman Empire back in HS whenever I see it.

It's closer to what really happens in a fight. If you drop someone it's stupid to let them up.

Thank God, it's been killing me for years that you never posted in here. Does Caractacus like MMA? Why doesn't he post? Is it not a sport to him? has he ever seen it?

Thank you for answering one of the great mysteries of life. :TU:

I'm always slightly amused by people who think it's more barbaric to finish an opponent off when hurt, rather than giving them just long enough to stand back up and take more of a prolonged beating.

I actually sparred Jesse Taylor back when he was in Australia. He's a pretty decent dude, I found his striking awkward though he was a bit slow. Strong dude though, has that I've been grappling my whole life kind of strength.
