Mate, in both matches everyone predicted the aamericans wouldn't let Kovalev win, in both matches Kovalev was ahead. Kovalev didn't lose because two refs made a mistake, no, all 3 refs U wrong D?! The latest ref himself even said it was wrong what he did.littlepug wrote:set up ? it isn't pulp fiction mate !asdfjkl wrote:I do suck it up, even stronger, I think I would feel embarrassed if I was Ward, knowing it was a massive setup and still lose all those rounds, how shamefull is that?! Lollittlepug wrote: nah im from uk, and theres a difference between breaking the rules and operating just outside them, its a working class sport mate, a sport that is as horrible and as beautiful and as frustrating and unjust as real life, suck it up and deal with it mate cos its not gonna change for you or me

no one to blame but Kov himself, he was in a brilliant position first time round but gave the fight away, he started well enough in the rematch but like all bullies when their victims wont crumble he just started coming apart physically and mentally.asdfjkl wrote:Mate, in both matches everyone predicted the aamericans wouldn't let Kovalev win, in both matches Kovalev was ahead. Clearly Kovalev won the first match, he won round much more dominating and even knocked Ward down, but Ward knew he had the refs in his pockets and Kovalev expected the refs to be honest, that's his only mistake.
In the second match Kovalev has requested for fair referees, but Ward refused, this was even more evidence that Ward had the refs in his pockets and everybody was right, it was clearly visable in the fight. Most of the content sadly has already been removed from the internet, especially in "American sites" like youtube and such.
Re: Ward Kovalev III
those stats are meaningless and refs aren't in anyones pocket, at worst they can be flawed, the only thing that matters is who got the W.asdfjkl wrote:littlepug wrote:no one to blame but Kov himself, he was in a brilliant position first time round but gave the fight away, he started well enough in the rematch but like all bullies when their victims wont crumble he just started coming apart physically and mentally.asdfjkl wrote: Mate, in both matches everyone predicted the aamericans wouldn't let Kovalev win, in both matches Kovalev was ahead. Re: Ward Kovalev III
Stats are meaningless? Are you joking? This is like saying, ah who cares about the rules, if the ref accepts it, everything is ok. The refs were clearly in Ward his pockets and everybody said it long before the first fight happened.littlepug wrote:those stats are meaningless and refs aren't in anyones pocket, at worst they can be flawed, the only thing that matters is who got the W.asdfjkl wrote:littlepug wrote: no one to blame but Kov himself, he was in a brilliant position first time round but gave the fight away, he started well enough in the rematch but like all bullies when their victims wont crumble he just started coming apart physically and mentally.

When the fight actually happened it was just a confirmation of what everyone predicted, American referees are not independent or fair.
Re: Ward Kovalev III
ok can see we not gonna agree which is fair enough, but weird/illegal/unfair stuff has been happening in boxing since it began and will continue into the future, so I will put this to bed now, we can continue this when the next controversy happens which wont be too far around the corner !asdfjkl wrote:Stats are meaningless? Punch stats are a joke, period. Not quite as big a joke as your opinions, but close.asdfjkl wrote:Stats are meaningless? Are you joking? I'd very cheerfully watch a third encounter, preferably at a location at least 2000 miles east of that of thr first two.
