Crawford vs Indongo for ALL 5 belts 08-19 !!!!

Post by imaioral »

Jesus Christ, an Undisputed-Undefeated bout for the 5 belts (WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO) never seen in boxing history finally come! :bag: :yay:

* Last 5 belts undefeated-undisputed boxer never existed, closer with 4 belts was Joe Calzaghe 12 years ago.

I don't see Indongo giving much trouble with Crawford unless he hit an accurate and lucky shot as did vs Troyanovsky.

Glad it's happening, Crawford looks awesome, I can't see him having much trouble, win all the gold and then move up and get the really big fights! I'm happy for Indongo too, the guy came out of nowhere and now he will make a fortune.

No because the IBF are p***ks and broke the titles up. They did it with Jermain Taylor, Tyson Fury,Mormeck and probably many others in the past.

They may do it with this still. Lipinets is mandatory and his team were saying they would get Indingo stripped at one point.

Its always good news when this type of fight happens for all four belts. That said I heavily favour Crawford in the fight.

The IBF are the worst.

Fair play to Indongo.

Last four fights have been in Namibia, Moscow, Glasgow and now Lincoln Nebraska.

Of the four Namibia is definitely the one where the locals speak the best English.

:OhYes:

Wonder who Dillian will fight on the undercard

The fight looks to be on Sky Sports on the UK.. usually Top Rank show fights on Box-Nation here..

Maybe it's to do with Hearn.. we know he's involved with Indongo and Whyte also on a the card.

Whyte would need to be someone like Rossy/Arreola/Mansour type with a record to keep him knocking on the door for a shot.

Outside of Crawford fighting Pacquaio or just moving up to 147 generally- it's a great fight. I see Crawford winning for sure but I think Indongo is slightly underrated.

Ah, fvck off Sky. Fvcking pricks. Wish they'd leave all the decent cards to BN and just focus on their Joshua PPVs.

Under rated for sure. I've only seen two of his fights and was really impressed both times. Good engine too, Crawford will have his hands full right to the end.

Indongo is definitely a tough matchup. He's extremely tall and lanky for the 140 pound division. He also has an awkward style that can give guys trouble no matter how polished they are because he does things in such an unorthodox manner. Awkward ass guys like that you can never really prepare for.

Crawford will beat him, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this turns out to be Crawford's hardest fight to date.

Since when did the IBO carry any weight???

The IBF, WBA, WBC, and also the WBO, already dilute the world scene more than enough. All the rest trying to gain worth should be completely ignored by the fans, we dont need any more world titles in our sport.

Agree with you - he's lanky and awkward in style - he could tie you up and make fight really difficult.

We still have not really seen all that much of Indongo - he won in canter against Burns - who's solid fighter and 24 seconds v Russian so there's not much to go off.

That's the only fight there's real footage of him - Burns said himself they struggled to get much out of Namibia and the Russian fight only lasted 30 seconds.

Burns said he hit really hard from awkward angles.

He made Burns look ordinary. I saw the other fight on Dailymotion search Indongo.
While I don't think it is a 50/50 fight, Indongo is so awkward and not a huge underdog. Crawford has not faced anyone so unconventional and that is enough to sew some doubt.

I like Crawford but I'd love for for Indongo to win. I remember when Azumah Nelson stunned the world and I'd love to see another African be top dog.
