Yarde vs Buatsi
Yarde vs Buatsi
This match up could be realistic in 18 months. Who wins?
Re: Yarde vs Buatsi
Doubt it - Buatsi will have 8-10 fights year 1 then start to step up.BAP1 wrote:This match up could be realistic in 18 months. Who wins?
Yarde will win European and then be looking for bigger while Buatsi is building himself.
The 2 promotors as well won't lead to that many fights - they agreed McDonnell v Butler on BT/Box only for it to fall apart from BT side of things.
If Buatsi is as good as they say - he won't be on BT and Yarde in all likelihood won't be coming to Sky.

Re: Yarde vs Buatsi
I'm all for discussion but this is barbaric matchmaking in my head!
Buatsi seems a small LHW, Yarde looks massive.
I reckon Yarde's away fighting for proper titles this time next year, I'd hope so anyway. Got a feeling he's gonna have a chin problem, maybe that's me being pessimistic.
Buatsi will hopefully fight for the British strap come this time next year. Or at the very least, stepped up to fringe British level.

Think we are way off from this fight.
Buatsi has not even had a pro fight yet!

Yarde vs Beterbiev, now that would be a great fight, some serious power going on in that one

You Bastards
This is NOT the response he was hoping for

Yarde looking frightening at the level he's been operating at and hasn't been remotely pushed when I've seen him ,
Looking forward to seeing him step up against the big boys , hope it's sooner rather than later .

Impossible to say until we have seen Buasti in a few. However Josh looks tiny at 175 where as Yarde looks to big for the weight. Antony also looks a like he is the goods - I just need to see his chin tested abit but he looks like he should be sturdy in that department too.
Re: Yarde vs Buatsi
Lyndon Arthur is a light heavyweight prospect I have heard is very good. He is currently trained by Pat Barrett.
He was the top guy in team GB but lost the spot to Buatsi for the Olympics.
Way too early to talk about these lads fighting each other. Also with Yarde he barely had an amateur career.
Look at Kovalev, Gvozdyk and Beterbiev very experienced amateurs but not near world level until their thirties.
No rush in this weight class.

Does anyone think Buatsi could boil down to SMW? Seems small to me

Re: Yarde vs Buatsi
I know yarde is a massive LHW but I do think buatsi is the better skilled of the two and I'd pick him to win,i need to see yarde in with a live opponent before making more judgement about him
