The Benn Collins rubber match has got me thinking.
What's the oldest rematch that could still be made?
Either combined age of boxers or longest since original fight or anything else relevant.

Fenech-Nelson 3 was 16 years in the making and all things considered wasn'r a bad fight.
Uno Mas was 9 years I think.

Chavez/Randall 3 was a fair bit after 2
Fenech/Nelson 3 was a surpisingly good fight, Hopkins/Jones Jr 2 was awful but then again so was the 1st fight, Leonard/Hearns 2 was nearly 10 years after the 1st fight , I think Castro/Jackson 2 was a while after the original as well

Great one, 21 years!
He also had something like 14 years between fights with the Bonecrusher

One or more of us has misunderstood the original question.

Yes,i understood it as the longest time between fights but reading it back it could be the combined ages of the 2 fighters so Benn v Collins would be right up there at 105 years

James Toney called out Roy Jones on Instagram the other day. 23 years after they first fought in 1994.

Just on the basis of Roy still being in control of his weight (regularly making 200lbs) and Toney weighing almost 250 for his last fight, I'd have to go with Roy.

Bugner v Bruno needs to be made.
How long has that been?
I went to WHL that night and tried to sneak in. No luck.
