Really didn't learn much about Conlan in this fight except this is what his face looks like.

I don't really care for the way he was looking to the referee like "Stop the fight" at the end. I realize he was expecting a stoppage around that time, but that sh*t could get him in trouble against a more dangerous opponent. As a fighter you just need to do your job, don't worry about doing the referees.

It's not like he had done enough damage to the guy that he should've been worried about seriously hurting him or anything. He hadn't done that damn much to him, Owens was just there to survive and it didn't take much to do him in.

Well Teddy got it right and said this 115 Ib fight would be short. That's good though. Hopefully the Pac fight is short to. Less time having to listen to Atlas.

I was actually thinking during the replay how funny it wouldve been if Owen dropped or KOd him while he was wide open looking to the ref

I actually think that was a little bit of "Amateur" left over in him. It doesn't take much for them to stop fights in the Amateurs, and that's probably why he was expecting some sort of stoppage after not much. He'll learn that's not the way the pro game always works with more experience.

Yeah. A better fighter would've definitely taken advantage, that's why you don't do sh*t like that.
