Horn was landing harder shots , did more action and deserved that fight much more than Manny.
I do not get how biased Teddy Atlas gave 6th round to MANNY? It was totaly biased and commentators were rooting for their idol and legend.
He was not good enough today and Horn was BETTER.

I've never liked Pacquiao. Ever. When Marquez knocked him out...I f*cking loved it! When Erik Morales beat him, I f*cking loved it!
I had it 116-112 Pacquiao

Thanks for the shitty thread, just as bad as the judges cards.
Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
Only people who watched on ESPN think it was a robbery.
Close fight, lots of rounds could have gone either way.

I hate teddy atlas more than any human being I've never met and I hate pac too. Still thought he clearly won.Taansend wrote:Only people who watched on ESPN think it was a robbery.

Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
I agree. I don't score fights much, but to me it seemed 9 or 10 of them were close enough to go either way. Punch stats show a total different story.Taansend wrote:Only people who watched on ESPN think it was a robbery.

One thing I didn't like was Pac's excuse of being sick. He was almost gracious in defeat. I thought he deserved the nod but glad he lost.
Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
I turned down the commentary. I have never been a Pac fan. Always have thought that he should be 1-2-1 v JMM. Will go to my grave believing Ramming Speed won the first Pac fight. Wanted Horn to win last night, badly.Taansend wrote:Only people who watched on ESPN think it was a robbery.

But I had it 115-112 Pac. If I had not given Pac the 10-8 ninth I'd have had it 115-113 Pac. While my realtime card had Pac winning close, I in no way think that this was a robbery.
The ref was definitely generous to Horn though, on his rough housing. But he nearly stopped the fight between 9 and 10.
Pac just left it too close. He has slipped, considerably.
Post fight on ESPN Timmy Ramming Speed Bradley was the most fair to Horn. Stephen A(buffoon) Smith was abysmal.
Congratulations to Horn. Fantastic accomplishment. He fought to his potential last night and got the close decision.
Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
I was rooting for Horn but Horn didn't deserve to win. Punch stats are usually a good indicator and they weren't even close.
Borderline robbery, but we've all seen worse.

It was incompetent judging, plain and simple. Only way Horn won is if you think constantly moving forward and throwing a high volume of blocked and missed punches is a way to win a boxing match.

Borderline robbery, but we've all seen worse.Tony! Do we need to do a punch stat intervention on you. I performed one on Diddy last night. Slowly back away from the punch stats and never go back.
I'm not saying they're always right by a long shot, but they're a guide and when they're not close it usually tells us something. We had the fight about the same.
Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
Punch stats. Boxing announcers use them at there convenience or as reference points. If punch stat taker's are having a bad day the numbers are even more meaningless.

I'm pretty shocked how many people thought horn won. I bet on horn to add interest so I'm pleased, but he didn't win.jujigatame wrote:It was incompetent judging, plain and simple. You are absolutely right. When punch stats are not close it tells us that punch stats are not close.Tony1244 wrote:Tanzio wrote:Tony1244 wrote:I was rooting for Horn but Horn didn't deserve to win. Punch stats are usually a good indicator and they weren't even close.

I'm wondering why the people watching the feed with the fight scored a draw weren't influenced by their commentary?

Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
I thought Horn won fairly clearly. Manny was missing and barely landing clean shots the whole night. He won clearly 3-4 rounds tops. Horn out worked him and in most rounds landed the cleaner shots. Those punch stats were bogus, and a lot of Manny ' s connects were off balance pitter pat counters.
Pacquiao is done as a top p4p fighter. He's simply "moonlighting" as a fighter now as Big George used to say.

What's done is done, so why go on & on & on about it ?? Just simply accept school teach beat a politician...& senator at that
Re: Only biased Pacman's fans would call this "robbery"
While I agree that Manny missed a lot, he missed far less than Horn did. The vast majority of what Horn threw missed completely. Some rounds he landed more forearms and elbows than punches, not to mention headbutts.dempseyfire wrote:I thought Horn won fairly clearly. I do not consider this a robbery, btw.

I'm not upset, hardly odd to discuss the weekends biggest fight on a message board. I parlayed it with Mayweather, so the return is a bit down the road.AntonS wrote:Yes he did & congrats on your investment return.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I'm pretty shocked how many people thought horn won. If there are no knockdowns and the punch stats have a 2-1 ratio in favor of fighter A, it's safe to say fighter A would deserve to win >95% of the time. Now go get into a fight with someone else.

That's two sh*t threads by a new poster in one day. You're off to a good start to join the hall of fame of worst posters ever.
