If I said to you, that by this time next year, you would have two women on your list, would you agree?
KT is currently ranked top #7 lightweight...
I would vehemently disagree. The Best Female Pro Boxer in the world probably has 500 or more male amateurs that are 2 weight classes below her that could stomp her ass.
Men and Women's athletics are two entirely different kettle of fish.
Your right. She is one win away from top 5.
Personally I think that counts as top 30 British fighters.. And something to be proud of. You guys have an amazing variety of top talent right now. It would be a shame to overlook a gold medal, 5 times world am champ ranked #7 as a pro, just because it's a Shelia.
Nonsense
The female divisions have much less talent and hence being ranked that high is far less meaningful. Please tell me, based on her actual opposition and not a computerized ranking in a very shallow division, why she should be on this list.
Opponents and their records when she fought them: Nina Meinke (5-0), Milena Koleva (9-7-1), Monica Gentili (6-6), Viviane Obenauf (9-1), Karina Kopinska (7-14-3). That resume reads like something you'd expect from a male prospect ranked 187th at his weight, and only two of her opponents still have winning records. No one she's fought is particularly good and this getting her to 8th in the world shows the lack of depth in women's pro boxing...
In my original post, I said in a year's time.
Persoon is #2 current P4P and getting old.
I think KT has what it takes to beat her with a few more fights under her.
If she wins that. Has 4 belts and is ranked #2 P4P, should she still be ignored taking professional boxing as a whole?
There are a couple of guys on that list by this time next year are going to drop off.
I asked Gilgamesh if he would consider listing a female and the answer was emphatically no.
Fair enough, it's not my list but I did need to put forward an argument for a potential female addition that has potential in the next 12 months.

Read carefully the end of my post concerning this, and where it probably will eventually lead and what that means.
She shouldn't even be in the discussion at this point given her opposition. That you keep mentioning her world rating just shows how weak women's pro boxing is.
omg she beat Nina Meinke! omg two of her five opponents have winning records!

It would be a shame to pretend she's as good as Male boxers when she's clearly not.
That's what I call P.C. bullsh*t. Let's just pretend that men and women are physically equal because...yay Feminism.
You know where that bullsh*t will eventually lead?
"Hey she's good enough to beat MEN! Let's get her a fight with a man! She'll show 'em!"
followed by
"Hey...that girl that fought a man died last night. Let's ban boxing it's barbaric"
Isn't being physically equal irrelevant to P4P though?
(not that I'm arguing Taylor should be anywhere near this list, btw)

Yes, but physically equal is irrelevant. She'd still need to be one of the most SKILLED boxers on the planet, and again...there would be 500 or more male AMATEURS that would have her beat in this department.
I reiterate. Men's and Women's athletics are an entirely different kettle of fish.
case and point
"Venus and Serena Williams had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both. Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centered around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager". The matches took place on court number 12 in Melbourne Park, after Braasch had finished a round of golf and two beers. He first took on Serena and after leading 5–0, beat her 6–1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6–2. Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance". He added that he had played like someone ranked 600th in order to keep the game "fun". Braasch said the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier, and that men put spin on the ball that the women can't handle. The Williams sisters adjusted their claim to beating men outside the top 350.

Yep. Read it. Not going to happen. They have been asking for 3 min rounds since Lalia Ali was on top, still hasn't happened in title fights. Men fighting woman? Not in my lifetime.
Woman's pro shallow?
Agreed.
There are two ladies who are decent, in the whole sport!
If KT beats one if them in the next 12 months let's reconvine and discuss.
Otherwise I'm being targeted for something I said as a " what if" as if it had happened, and would you consider adding it to your list.
I know the answer
That's fine.

It's more than just a physicality thing. It's a coordination thing and everything. There's just no comparison.
I'm not "targeting" you, I'm just answering logically why it's never gonna happen that there's a woman who honestly and truly ranks among the men as one of the great P4P fighters.
