It should be in Australia. That fight wouldn't draw well here.

Agreed. It does gangbusters in Australia.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:It should be in Australia. That fight wouldn't draw well here.
Jeff has the advantage of having reached the mountaintop and surely have a huge boost in confidence, and almost certainly improving his ability between now and the rematch.
Pacquiao has the possible advantage of knowing what he's up against this time and preparing for a tough night this time instead of a cakewalk which given his lackadaisical start to the fight would seem to be what he thought he was gonna get.
That being said though. I think Jeff Horn beating him in a rematch is a very strong possibility. Legitimately this time.
Jeff has all the upside here career wise.
38 year old fighters don't get better. If he really did as good as he could've last night, and he knows if he did or not, then he better pack it in because chances are next time he'd be facing an even tougher Jeff Horn.

Horn wants the rematch to be in Melbourne Australia but Pacquiao is trying to get it in the Philipines.

Melbourne is preferred location, because outdoor venue such as Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium would be way too hot in middle of the day in December.Sids wrote:Horn wants the rematch to be in Melbourne Australia but Pacquiao is trying to get it in the Philipines.
Etihad Stadium (Capacity: 53,359) has retractable roof & is air conditioned if need be.
