Yeah mate, I was just posting long time between rematches that had happened rather than ones that could happen.

Ok I cannot find a death date for one of Lamottas opponents, O'Neill Bell (every google search comes up with the murder of his namesake).

So I am going for Jake Lamotta v O'Neill Bell - First fight 18th April 1949, 68 years between fights if they kick off again :D

Terry Downes is Britain's oldest surviving world champion at 81. Put him in with fellow middleweight Jake (who turns 96 tomorrow) and you have a combined age of 177 years.

I had too and when I saw a death date come up I was confused at first, then remembered it. Him and Forrest paid a big price for living there
