Gervonta Davis - new Broner, as him and May 'make it rain'
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/3924814/ ... rls-twerk/
What a fvcking clown. Mayweather is 40 and Davis isn't rich enough to act like this. What total bellends,
The conspicuous consumption of hip hop culture is pathetic and leads largely to bankruptcy.
Also - what is it with Mayweather? He always seems to pick up a BFF every year - Broner, 50 cent, Beiber, Davis, Theophane....
i bet Floyd likes playing for both teams...
Ps I know it all adds up, but they're only $1 notes, hardly a massive display of wealth

Bit of a non story. It's what happens when you go from nothing to having a lot of money, you go a bit mad. I'll take whatever the sun has to say as seriously as I take the film 'Paul'
Re: Gervonta Davis - new Broner, as him and May 'make it rain'
..............also consider this is presumably at the club Mayweather owns (or promotes at least).......

It will be a story when Davis, Broner and co end up broke because they're trying to live a multi million lifestyle on a hundred thousand pay check.danconnollyeire wrote:Bit of a non story. And to all those saying they're just having a bit of fun - what? Misogynistically humiliating women by throwing one dollar notes on their ass... real classy.... I bet you'd be happy if it was your sister

I think Davis is actually a world class talent. That alone separates him from broner. Good kid too.
Re: Gervonta Davis - new Broner, as him and May 'make it rain'
Damn chill out Mary Whitehouse, it is not my sister and if it was, I'd tell her to hoover all those dollars up, jump in a cab with the boys, have some fun and then steal a watch on the way out the doorboxingknockout wrote:It will be a story when Davis, Broner and co end up broke because they're trying to live a multi million lifestyle on a hundred thousand pay check.danconnollyeire wrote:Bit of a non story. Presumably nobody is forcing the strippers to be there - there shaking they're ass and making their money and floyd and co are enjoying their services..everybody wins. Funnily enough before I was married I would often go to the strip club, but we wouldn't have been able to get away with throwing small change like Floyd And co did!
Re: Gervonta Davis - new Broner, as him and May 'make it rain'
If he wants to waste his money on strippers that's his business. It's his to do with as he pleases. He looks more talented than Broner ever looked to me already.

I read somewhere earlier this year, before the McGregor circus was anounced, that if Floyed kept up his historical spending, he would be bankrupt by 2020.
Anyone else read that, more to add?

Floyd will never see real poverty. Tyson and holyfield had falls from Grace, but neither of them are, or ever were, remotely broke. Bankruptcy, sell a dozen cars and a half dozen houses, etc...KiwiRider wrote:I read somewhere earlier this year, before the McGregor circus was anounced, that if Floyed kept up his historical spending, he would be bankrupt by 2020.

I was bored on the weekend and one thing led to another as it does on the internet and I started looking up net worths of fighters and Holyfield came up as only having assets of half a million dollars which was a shock despite knowing he had fcked up badly. Hell I have more than that ffs! I bet most Londoners who own a house or even half of their house would!
Re: Gervonta Davis - new Broner, as him and May 'make it rain'
There was a documentary about Holyfield and he lost a lot to ex wives bad investment and peole ripping him off.tobyh5 wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Floyd will never see real poverty. Broner has 7 kids and 6 ex's. Expect him in the same situation in a few years.

A lot of Well paid American athletes end up broke, I think it's because you can delay paying tax for years there unlike the UK.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Floyd will never see real poverty. It is not starving and when one looks at how people are struggling in the world, it may seem a lot but when you consider this is assets, which means everything taken into account it is not much. Do you understand what "assets" means mate as it is a lot different to cash in the bankSaadOffTheDeck wrote:Half a million bucks is not hurting.tobyh5 wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote: Floyd will never see real poverty. David Tua was bankrupt about two years after he lost to Holyfield.
ESPN did an exposay on ex athletes a few of them were boxers. It was called Broke.
It's very sad. They put their bodies on the line, suffer health problems later on, and some end up broke.

I do mortgages for a living, I understand it all to well. You're making my point for me. I've been broke, that means you have nothing. Evander knows what that is too, and he'll never be broke again. It's just nothing to feel sorry for or deride. Blowing through 500 million bucks seems impossible to me, but it damn sure sounds fun.tobyh5 wrote:It is not starving and when one looks at how people are struggling in the world, it may seem a lot but when you consider this is assets, which means everything taken into account it is not much. Of course not. A lot of these guys have piles of cash stashed away. Child support is the real killer. Holyfield was long washed up paying out off of his prime earnings.tobyh5 wrote:Apologies then if I caused any offense through misunderstanding.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I do mortgages for a living, I understand it all to well.
