They probably will.. He hold regional belts from both orgs.. I'm not sure what date of the month they usually update their rankings.greg wrote:...have WBA, WBO adjusted their rankings as well? If a guy fails a PED test, are we just supposed to ignore him? He's easily got a top 10 resume and now holds WBA/WBO regional belts, which will almost surely get him ranked by them again.
He should be above Pulev, Parker, and Ortiz too.

Boxing has to get rid of the corrupt WBC... They had a very fancy "World Championship Belt" made for Canelo---they said the winner---in advance of his Chavez fight, so they could ask for a stiff sanctioning fee because they knew the fight would rake in millions... That was pretty damned bold I would say.
Canelo and Chavez basically told the WBC to go pound sand -- and stick their belt where the sun don't shine ... "This is a non-title fight" Canelo told them.

I have no idea why the other orgs took him out over a wbc ruling.

Above Pulev and Parker for certain.crusader wrote:If a guy fails a PED test, are we just supposed to ignore him? He's easily got a top 10 resume and now holds WBA/WBO regional belts, which will almost surely get him ranked by them again.

Yes, those two without doubt. Ortiz is more arguable, though I still think Povetkin edges it.
Re: THE RING rates POVETKIN #7 contender @ HWT !
He should be at No. 4 or higher.
Silly ranking.
Silly ranking.
Re: THE RING rates POVETKIN #7 contender @ HWT !
I agree. It's way too low.
Joshua
Klitschko
Povetkin
See, Povetkin should be right under Klitschko and Joshua. #7 is way too low.

I have him #6 right now...so what?
Re: THE RING rates POVETKIN #7 contender @ HWT !
Mates, after so many PED problems with Povetkin, you still rate him that high?
