I don't mind Vasyl vs Marriaga, it's nothing to get excited about, but I expect Vasyl wouldn't fight again at all until like October or November so it's ok by me.

Vasyl has already fought better opposition in less than a dozen fights than most fighters have fought after 40. He'll be fighting another top opponent in all likelihood by years end.

Big drama show

Lomachenko is doing all the right things but lacks name recognition or a meaningful bout.

Like I touched in the big concern for me is this espn deal.

Whilst a lot of networks is good it can be an obstacle (or an excuse) in stopping the best fighting the best.

The best superfeatherweights are on HBO in two weeks can they fight in ESPN ??

Marriaga is a crap fight. Why not at least fight Oscar Valdez, who basically shut him out in his last fight. Bring in a guy that lost his last fight, and make him go up in weight? A stay busy fight? If so fine, but at least get a guy that will come in with some confidence. I'm guessing Valdez didn't want to fight for peanuts, and this is an in house fight for greedy fornicate Arum.

Valdez-Marriaga was an extremely competitive fight and the cards were shitt. I think Marriaga being a 126 pound fighter is more of a knock on the bout than the result of his last fight.

ESPN has enough money to put on any fight, it's just a question of them spending it. Pac drew nice ratings. we'll see how the next two go. As for Salido, that man has earned the right to fight whomever he wants.
