Don't think they'll make the Abraham/Eubank winner a seed, as with them having to pick their opponent depending who the winner is they could want a different person, throwing it in to chaos from the start.

Eubank Sr is picking it.

Why would they not have the 2nd most credible fighter in the tournament as a seed?

Eubank Sr is picking it.
I've not read, but assume then Abraham's team are happy with whoever senior picks?

Because it could be that Eubank or Abraham would prefer different options on who to fight.

So instead they'll choose to not be a seed and perhaps have to fight the best fighter in the tournament in the first round?

They could easily come to a basic deal of agreeing to pick the worst available fighter for the first round or something like that.

I don't see a major problem with it.

If it works like that, we don't really know.

Purely for arguments sake the seeds are Groves, Smith, Braemher and Eubank/Abraham

Groves picks Cox
Smith picks Skoglund
Braehmer picks Brant

Leaving Yildrim for CEJ/AA.

You'd imagine either wouldn't be too arsed about that situation, however if CEJ/AA are a higher pick, then...

Groves picks Cox
CEJ/AA picks Skoglund
Braemer picks Brant
Smith picks Yildrim

AA beats CEJ, however Team Abraham would maybe prefer not to fight Skoglund, and would have chosen Brant or Yildrim, who were both still available.

As I've said, I doubt it's not been sorted without this in mind, bu a) this is boxing and simplest things often get screwed up and b) I think CEJ probably beats AA. Or even c) Abraham's team don't care who Eubank Sr picks.

The Eubanks will find a way to fck the whole thing.

Presumably Junior is getting the first pound to drop (whatever the hell that ever meant) and will choose their TV commentators.

They could cause some problems, but without the Eubank vs Abraham winner this tournament would be pretty bloody awful.

Groves, Smith & Eubank Jr fighting each other are the only matches that I'm particularly interested in.

Like said above, massively improved tournament now with Eubank Jr added to it, but remains to be seen if he'll play by the rules and show up

I fancy Cox to take this!!

Eubank Jnr will definitely pull out!

Best tournament for a while.

Is the draw live on a stream or TV?

Surely we need to avoid Cuban clash, so:
Briedis - Kudryashov
Gassiev - Wlodarczyk
Usyk - Perez
Dorticos - Huck

I think Dorticos is the weakest ranked.

Semies:
Briedis - Gassiev
Usyk - Huck

Finals:
Briedis - Usyk

Winner:
Usyk

Not bad. I hope in reality it will be the same. I support Usyk, but I'm not sure he can win Briedis. Mairis has a power and good technique. Must be a great fight.
