Oh. My bad. No only watched it once. Garcia was clearly winning the fight but have you ever seen a fight stopped because of a broken nose? Be honest now. Imagine if fights were stopped because someone had a broken nose? Rocky wouldn't even have been a movie.
He got butted (intentionally?). I have some thoughts it went to the cards a bit quick. Garcia was absolutely battering him though
I actually remember watching that fight and I felt that Salido was starting to make it interesting. I felt that Salido was going to give Garcia hell in those last 4 rounds and I remember being very disappointed in the fight ending like that because it had just turned into a fight. Salido started that fight very cold. We know Salido finishes fights and Garcia just quit. It wasn't deemed an intentional butt either so get that correct. It was unintentional head butt otherwise, they would have DQ'd Salido. Headbutts never happen in boxing right? Please
Don't be so naive boy. Butts happen and intention is entirely opinionated. I know it wasn't a dq but that just means the ref didn't judge it intentional. We have our own eyes and can form our own opinion but it's hard to prove intention.

Garcia battered him. That's the only fact of matter

I'm sure Arum made a promise to Lomo about a championship fight soon into his career so Lomo would sign with TR. Should have given him a few more fights first, but hindsight is 20-20. I wish he wasn't with Arum so we could see Lomo vs Rigo before Rigo gets to be 40. Arum has obviously been blocking that fight since he hates Rigo so much. Rigo and Lomo are top 10 skill-wise imo. PFP? I don't know....just an opinion anyway.

There's now 2 weight division separating the 2 fighters. It's more likely Lomachenko will move to Lightweight imo and school Linares or something. Rigondeaux is a great fighter but he wouldn't stand a chance jumping up 2 weight classes fighting a guy who's as good (if not better) technically.

This is true... Caldo doesn't know WTF he's talking about... Walters was supposed to fight Loma for years and kept getting cold feet, but Walters smashed Nonito Donaire who had a lot of great wins previously -- and he did it a lot faster, more dominantly, and more impressively than Rigondeaux beat him.. As far as the Salido fight is concerned.. Anybody who think Salido out-scored Lomachenko with legal punches is stone blind. And the bitch won't rematch.

Walters and Russell are going on the "Don't Fight" list because they lost to Lomachenko... Nobody is going to let them look good.
Look at Ricky and Kalan coming up with excuses for why Lomachenko got beat by Salido. They even pulled out one of my favorite excuses...the NO FAIR, HE CHEATED....i'm very surprised that they didn't use the HE WAS HEAVIER BECAUSE HE DIDN'T MAKE WEIGHT ON PURPOSE. Kalan used the BUT IT WAS ONLY LOMA'S SECOND FIGHT AS A PRO SO NA NA NA NA NA. Like the absolute infant he is. Only his second fight but it was a title fight...hmm. Funny how that happens ha? Like everything in his pro career, Loma just gets things handed to him undeservedly. Me? I'm glad that Salido slapped him all over that night and got his hand raised.

Yeah but Lomachenko is the best P4P fighter in the world...he couldn't even beat a chubby old Salido. Get real nerds.
You're nothing but a hater who denies facts... The fact is the SD in Lomachenko-Salido was a robbery because Loma landed significantly more fair punches -- and Salido has bee avoiding a rematch ever since because he knows he'll get knocked out...like his friend Rocky Martinez did. Martinez beat Salido but was dominated and knocked stiff by Loma.. The same exact thing would happen to Salido.

And BTW, I do think that Loma is A LOT better fighter right now than a couple of years ago when he fought Salido. I do think that Loma was too green for that fight and it turned out to be true. But fans need to understand that the fight happened and we have to consider those results into our analysis of the top P4P fighters in the world. Most people throw that fight out for some reason. Why? It was only 2 years ago. That's recent history and it needs to be considered and that's why he's not my top P4P fighter.
Some faulty counting here, too.

You didn't just give me the A beat B, C beat A so that means C can beat B argument did you. The problem is that B already beat C so you can't even come close to using that old stupid method anyway. Grow up. There was no robbery. Nothing even close to the robberies we've been seeing in recent years. I'm not a hater btw. I like to watch Loma work. He's impressive. But while everyone wants to hand him title shots and belts, i'd prefer that boxers earn things. It just so happens all is right in the world when a spoiled boxer gets beat by a blue collar fighter that wasn't going to let himself be another statistic. Salido stopped the Loma love affair for a little while but doesn't get nearly enough credit for it.

Salido has always been game. He's not in Lomo's class as far as skills go but have to give him credit for winning.
I only saw highlights of Salido vs Garcia. I was shocked at them stopping it. To me it makes me question Garcia's heart a bit, or think his brother/trainer was looking out for him. Perhaps both.

They HAD to stop the fight on the deliberate head-butt that smashed Garcia's nose flat.. The nose was hanging off to the side.. You can't fight with an injury like that. That nose was history and took a long time to heal.. Garcia was 10 points ahead after 8 rounds. Salido was ridiculously uncompetitive.. So why give an inept swinger like that a chance to win??? One good punch on the schnozz and and it's a major upset -- so the decision was mandatory.

It was as bad as any other robbery I've ever seen... Lomachenko was clearly the better boxer while landing more and better punches.. Salido kept throwing low with impunity from the corrupt referee... The whole SD robbery was orchestrated ahead of time right down to the weight advantage and choice of Laurence Cole for referee and the judges. You’re the most clueless and naïve man on the planet.

A win is a win is a win. I was scoring the fight and I had Salido winning the fight and I thought the judges nailed it perfectly. Go watch it again and make sure you watch the other guy in the ring on occasion as well.

Loma gets a pass of sorts from me due to it being only his second fight when he fought saldido. It does make me draw a line from worshipping him like some do. Check out mikey Garcia vs saldido to see how he should be dealt with by an elite fighter
Garcia was unable to continue when he was fouled... Lomachenko was fouled 10 X as much, and deliberately. They ruled the head-butt accidental that flattened Garcia's nose -- but it was deliberate as Hell. Had it been Loma and Laurence Cole that foul wouldn't even have been called.
