I think this is going to be a relatively boring UD for Davies.

His stand out performance was losing to Pascal in the 2002 Commonwealths but his actual career high was when he hit that punch machine on The Contender. Never has a man dined out for so long for doing well on a fairground toy.

I don't agree... to me, Paul's most aggresssive and dominating performance is his use of the 'block' button on Twitter.

I don't think any boxer has been as ruthless or as dominant in this field. #P4PTwitterBlockingChamp

Really looking forward to this.

Didn't realise Taylor was such a big unit. Looks like a Light Middle.

Shame I'll be at work.

Taylor's tall but looked undernourished.

Davies looks confident and has those broad muscular shoulders of a puncher.

Great fight

Poll results have considerably narrowed. It seems that people are waking up. More Taylor fights I see more confident I am in Oharas win.

Hopefully, no matter who wins tomorrow, they'll both move on to World level.

I have strongly fancied OD to win this since it was made, but does anyone else think he looks really tired this week? Away fighter, probably getting deliberately woken by locals in hotel all week.

I've had a hefty bet on OD to win - just 'match odds' - so however that win comes about.

I reckon he hits hard enough to trouble Taylor and that'll force a stoppage in the later rounds.

Interesting that. I've heard of people playing these tricks against away fighters esp in Italy... even in amateur contests of a low level

It's an old trick. They did it to the English football team 1970 World Cup

Its nice to be able to see a on paper 50/50 fight between two unbeaten british boxers and not being charged £16.95 for the pleasure shame most the people that buy the haye/bellew and AJ cards probably have no idea it's even on.

Been looking forward to this.

Do we think it'll run nicely to see the BN/BT undercard and this main event?

There's the WBSS draft* at 10.30pm too

*I have no idea what a draft is, Americanism for draw?

I believe that each seed gets to pick their opponent. So a bit different than a blind draw

In the NFL draft its seed one gets first pick and so on. But in NFL the one seed is on paper the worse team.
