Very lucky the referee refused to take any points there, could have had several taken. Edwards helped Cocoran to that.

Agreed. I had it 115-112 to Ekundayo but so many of those rounds were close you can't argue too much with the result.

I'll never bet on Larry again - he's one of those frustrating fighters that finds a way to lose lesser talents :brick:

I thought Corcoran/Ekundayo was heading for a draw, I never scored it but knew it was close, Corcoran as aggressive and busy as per usual but Ekundayo hurt him a few times later on, gruelling as they come that one

Disgraceful refereeing throughout that fight. He let Corcoran get away with all sorts. I wonder why

yes - but you can see it a mile off.
Like Wlad vs AJ, Howard Eastman another one off the top of my head. Audley too - fighters that somehow lose when they look a level above who thy're fighting.

Not that Wlad looked a level above - just he had AJ and didn't take him.

Williams/Smyle was close, not as good as their 1st fight but still decent, the KD proved crucial

Both very close so I'm not gonna cry foul or robbery, but I had both Larry and Smyle winning by a couple.

Feels like that to me too.

I've got more of a problem with Williams vs Smyle - the first one was 'what you like' and CoreCoreAn gave the impression of wanting it more.
Both were close tho - can't claim judges were blind or bent or whatever.

Thought Williams pulled it out after a slow start, I only had it by one point though.

I never scored it either but thought Smyle might have done enough early on, hard to tell with close fights if you don't score them though, sometimes you surprise yourself when you do tally up your scores at the end

Yeah neither were robberies, just felt a decision went the wrong way. Both were enjoyable bouts so can't complain about the match ups or quality either.

As expected, Skeete looks a class above, Evans needs some success soon if he's going to have any chance in this one

Skeete giving his usual kind of effort here. Tight defense, long jab. He's shutting down Evans' attempts at offense. Evans keeps trying to get inside and land a big hook or overhand right, but has had little success so far.

3-0 Skeete

Tend to agree, Evans looks limited against Skeete, but he's not going anywhere.
