Out of McNess's 7 wins 6 of them were against opponents with losing records, the only one he won against a winning opponent had a 4-3 record.

And Byfield on fire here

I know BT Sport want to develop some "stars" to get behind - to compete with Sky/Matchroom ....but how this guy slipped through the net to garner individual coverage is anyone's guess.Neil Gee wrote:Out of McNess's 7 wins 6 of them were against opponents with losing records, the only one he won against a winning opponent had a 4-3 record.
He's just be comprehensively beaten up ...totally annihilated... at southern area level....

The Green Street Elite are kicking off in the crowd now... I expect Bilbo Baggins is throwing bombs at the Reading mob

Was Byfield that good or McNess that bad ?

Whoever said Mcness was a touted prospect? His record was not spectacular and I had never heard of him.
I had Byfield in 2 accas, but Son of Bruno let me down

Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Corcoran vs. Larry Ekundayo - July 8th 2017
A bit of both I think.
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Corcoran vs. Larry Ekundayo - July 8th 2017
A bit of both. Byfield seemed decent enough ...but McNess was pump. Swinging and missing and then just eating shots. It was a serious beating; not even close really. Now the MC is screaming at the crowd to stop fighting.... its all very classy.skanksta wrote:Was Byfield that good or McNess that bad ?

Doubt McNess will come back from that, bit of hype with the West Ham players there went down the pan quickly
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Corcoran vs. Larry Ekundayo - July 8th 2017

Possibility the card could be called off unless they stop the handbags.

If he comes back from that he deserves massive respect.tony1234 wrote:Doubt McNess will come back from that, bit of hype with the West Ham players there went down the pan quickly

Got a nice view of the scuffling in the upper tier.
Some dirty cheap shots going in from some plastic hard men.

I know it's not body-building but if The Board saw that weigh in they'd be morally obliged to call this fight off as a mismatch.
I'll predict Yarde R2 only because he's a patient type.

wouldn't mind seeing Yarde in with Ricky Summers next, win and then onto Frank Buglioni...
Re: Round-By-Round - Gary Corcoran vs. Larry Ekundayo - July 8th 2017
I'd like to see Yarde fight (beat) Callum Johnson, Buglioni, Ajisafe then Cleverly in the next 6 months to take the British outright.Neil Gee wrote:Too easy

The Hungarian did very well to get up from the first knockdown, but couldn't hold Yarde off.

Anyone wanna play Ritchie Woodhall bingo ?
We've already had 'needs to quicken his feet a little bit' at twice, so it's going to be "easier said than done of course" for house.
