I am positivly surprised about Floyd Mayweather

Post by Jip »

I thaught Conor would totaly own him in trash talking, but Floyd got into his head. He won the trash talking.

I mean we all know Floyd sucks at being entertaining in the ring, but outside he realy good at trash talking. Most of the fans their for Conor, he had the crowd behind him, but Floyd realy brought it. "He looks good for a 7, 8 figure fighter, i am 9 figures bitch". great line!

If Floyd would be half as entertaining inside the ring than he is outside the ring than he would be my favourite boxer. The thing is this. Floyd is so damn boring, that he wont even finish Conor. Any elite boxer like Spence, Thurman, Canelo or GGG, any of those guys if they faced Conor would go inside the ring with mindset "i have to t/ko this guy real bad, he is a 0-0-0 boxer, i need to destroy him, he is not worthy being in the ring with me". But floyd, he wont even try, with his soft hands, soft bones. He will shoulder roll to an boring ud like he always does. You cant transform a ananas into a banana.

Have you ever considered commenting on a thread someone else started?

I was surprised too, though cutting Mcgregor's mic helped.

I haven't seen it, but then what does the other guy make in his debute then? And actually, despite the name and fame of daddy how much did junior make in his debute? Fact that that pussy didn't dare to show up for 8 figures against an amateur says more then to much doesn't it? I'm happy though people found him, finally a pussy big enough for me to fit in.

Floyd was really clever here in how he was selling this. He was really selling the idea that Conor COULD possibly beat him. "He's a young man in his 20's, I'm in my 40's. He's active, I'm not active"...and he was also talking about how difficult the training camp is for him.

He also said the line "I ain't the fighter I was 20 years, or 10 years or 5 years or even 2 years ago...but I can beat you" to Conor.

Interesting comments from Floyd. Very much feels like a classic pool hall hustle. He's trying to get the odds closer

The only way the other guy can win is if the Americans want to destroy the sport completely and all move over to mma.
The Americans are losing in all fronts but cheating and everybody sees it. Cheating refs, doping fakes, Nevada lab suspended, the list goes on. I can fully understand the Americans realise they are no way close near the best in this sport any more and in fact suck so hard that they want to say goodbye to it completely.

In any other way, they simply let junior win.

I agree that more people are becoming MMA fans because of the corruption in boxing. If McGregor wins, more people would gravitate to MMA. If the fight goes the distance and Mayweather wins because of biased judging, that will cause more people to believe that boxing is corrupt. I think if there are not fair and impartial officials for this fight, it will hurt boxing a lot because of the worldwide interest for the event.

I think that this will be the fight in which Floyd finally gets bagged with a needle in his ars and PEDS pumping through his body. One last money grab will end up being one too many. 40 year old men are not in this kind of shape. It's impossible. Watch when Floyd's shirt is off. He looks more ripped up than when he was fighting at freaking 130. Joke.

I don’t know whether Floyd is a “clean” athlete or not, but since he was one of the very first high-profile boxers that insisted that his opponents and himself were drug tested for their bouts (he was even initially lambasted for having the sheer audacity to demand this contractual stipulation for his fights, then I highly-doubt it.

In regards, to Floyd Mayweather Jr. being “ripped”, Money May has always kept himself in good shape and I also suspect that he knew about the Conor McGregor bout several months prior to it being officially announced.

I believe that he would have already been seriously training for his upcoming bout against the UFC star before it was “officially” announced, because the announcement of the fight was probably intentionally delayed and strategically timed in a manner with Showtime’s sole intention to damage the commercial success of HBO's Kovalev-Ward, Cotto-Kamegai and GGG-Canelo contests.

There's definitely something shady about him. Especially considering he was allowed to take an "IV" for hydration when he never drains himself to make weight. Demanding drug testing doesn't mean much considering Lance Armstrong and Marion Jones never was caught by any test.

Exactly. Realy clever.

Me. It took me off guard. I thaught conor would easily destroy floyd in trash talking having 80 % of the crowd behind him etc. But floyd realy got at him. I mean the gloves issues or floyd wanting to fight mma afterwards and that floyd is a warrior and kos oponents lile bowling pins is fake talk. The guy is the biggest chicken ever, was so much afraid of midget manny (when pac was prime) that he had 10000 excuses, 1 year vacation and overall 6 year waiting time to face past prime midget...he by far aint a warrior who wants to slug it out.

Thomas Hauser’s article that was originally responsible for the alleged “intravenous vitamin injections” Money May scandal was published during the fight-week of the Mayweather-Berto bout... a strategially-timed ploy employed by HBO to undermine the commercial success of a Showtime PPV event.

It is important to note that Thomas Hauser went from being a renowned critic of HBO’s when he was an independent journalist to becoming employed as one of their journalists/consultants.

Now that he's employed by HBO, he now refrains from publishing any articles that damage his employers' reputation. Indeed, he now has a track-record of releasing editorials that are strategically-published to damage the reputations of the high-profile people that are affiliated to Showtime.

Many of his claims about the “intravenous vitamin injections” Money May scandal have been subsequently proven to be unsubstantiated, with most of the allegations mainly based on anonymous sources.

Hauser made similar claims about Al Haymon that were also subsequently debunked during the Golden Boy-Haymon “Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act” trail.

It’s your prerogative to believe your own opinion to be true, despite all the facts and the evidence suggesting a polar opposite version of the truth, so I’ll let you continue making your bogus, fictional and comedic claims.

Floyd is not a clean athlete, his samples have proven that more then to often, somehow he get's away with it because of his money.
As soon as Floyd is suspicious, they simply avoid additional testing and things like that.

Not to mention his style of boxing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EevJey1WTjE

Also note that additional to Floyd his testing demanding, he also demands he can chose both his own, as well as his opponents, their moments of testing, it's not like Floyd joined Vada or something.

There is no evidence of Floyd Mayweather Jr. taking PED’s. If there was, then he would have been banned, but he wasn’t.

Your allegations are unsubstantiated.

I read your post but since English isn't your first language, I might have misinterpreted a couple of badly-written sentences.

That being said, it's pretty hard to misunderstand the nature of the following allegation that you made, which was something that I directly challenged:

You’re an embarrassment to this forum.

Sometimes the utterly bizarre comments that you post to this forum compel me to clench my ársé cheeks, to the point that my buttocks become vacuum packed in my boxer shorts, due to my own compulsion to empathise and feel pity for your horrific lack of intellect!

The shot against Victor Ortiz...whether you think it's fair or not was legal. I'd have done the exact same thing in Floyd's shoes. Dude just headbutted him in the mouth and now he wants to hug? Nah son...

It should have been a No Contest, Cortez made a mess of it then counted out a guy without seeing the blows that floored him

The punches from Floyd were 100% legal there were no grounds to call it a no contest. Joe Cortez had said "Alright fight"...Ortiz wanted to Hug instead of fight...that's his problem

No contest would have been a huge robbery towards Floyd. When a man headbutts and kisses you, you punch him in the mouth.
